Discus and support Back 4 Blood won't install - Xbox Series X in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; I have a physical copy of Back 4 Blood for my Series X.     Back 4 Blood won't install - Xbox Series X


    I have a physical copy of Back 4 Blood for my Series X. It does install, but nothing appears for an update. When I try to play, it says "Update Needed" - "You need this update, but we can't get it at the moment. Try again in a while. (0x8b050033)."

    I went to the update section, and it says there are no updates.

    Does anyone know how to fix this?

    I've encountered the same error and what I did is that I installed the Xbox app on my phone and search for the game there. You should see an option to push the installation to your console. You might want to try this.

    I've spotted your question and since it happened to me recently, I'd like to share you some step that helped me when I had this problem.

    Using your mobile phone, kindly install Xbox App. Once you have it, search for the game and push the installation from there. You will notice that a bigger file size will install and it should be smooth sailing from there.
