back 4 blood crashing at easy anti cheat

Perform a clean boot and also disable as many third-party programs as possible running on your PC. Check if your antivirus has quarantined the game file and disable it too.

Let me provide you with a solution that worked for me, as I encountered a similar issue. Please check or disable any third-party anti-virus you might be running, as this conflicts with the Anti-cheat software. I also right-clicked on the game and ran it as admin once I disabled my anti-virus software blocking the game. Second, Let provide you with the link to Turtle-Rock studios, as there you can filter by platform, report a bug, and track issues. Here is the link Back 4 Blood (wbgames.com). There are others with the same issue, yes. I have seen mention by one player elsewhere that their game finally launched after trying 8-10 times. No official mention of it on any of the various Xbox Twitter accounts

"If you are running a third-party anti-virus program, you need to allow EZ Anti Cheat to run and bypass your software or alternatively you can disable your anti-virus program.

You can also attempt to right click the game application icon and run it as an admin. This gives the game administrator rights allowing it to bypass most restrictions."

It appears as though it does NOT. Instead the windows store version has Easy Anti-cheat.
