Baba Yaga Temple Witch causes ROTTR on 360 to lock up after downloading

So today I decided to purchase the Baba Yaga Temple Witch DLC and after downloading it as soon as I click on the game icon on the main dash it goes to a black screen and you hear a sound in the background like a prompt pops up and it wants you to do something
and BAMM!!!!!!Black screen and the whole system is locked up!! Have to get up and manually turn the system off.

Cleared the cache but no luck.

Any other ideas or am I out $10.00 ?!?!?!?

Rise of the Tomb Raider only starts with DLC installed, if console is switched offline.

Thanks for the extra info. I figured the spare external HDD was a long shot but it was worth asking! If you're willing to try troubleshooting some more, I'd like to try having you remove all the DLC you own for the game except for

Baba Yaga: The Temple of the Witch. Make sure both the main game and that DLC are both on your external HDD, then try to boot up the game.

Let me know if that works and if so, we might want to try different combos until we can figure out what is causing the issue.

So I deleted the DLC and the game started fine, it was a prompt that I heard before it froze the system.

Now it wanted me to download a 657mb or so update, then after doing that I downloaded the DLC again and now it works fine.

Nice pre-release testing and support.

Obviously the DLC was *** up when an update was needed.

With the Baba Yaga, I had an issue when fighting the witch. The things you had to release the gas from showed up but the witch did not. Took me a while to realise that's why nothing happened. A reload of the last checkpoint fixed the
issue though. But just mentioning it in case others come across it too.

In Baba Yaga on XB1, My rope works puzzle is bugged . I finish it , ride the lift to baba Yaga's cave, but the game says that I still need to compete it. Several reloads and console reboots later, the problem is still there .

I can go all the way to Baba Yaga's cave , but she will not spawn since the game thinks I haven't activated the rope works.

well baba yaga is up and the DLC achievements are all good except for Witch Trials, which requires you to get gold on score attacks for the new DLC levels, of which i believe there are only two. i got gold on both, but no achievement, and no one else on
trueachievements seems to have it either yet. there are only 28 people tracked with that DLC so far, but it was pretty easy to get gold on both levels, so i imagine the other 5 people who have all other achievements probably tried and failed to unlock it
as well.
