    AX720 v1.5 Tritton Headset Mic to work with Xbox One


    I have the older v1.5 AX720 Headset that has the Xbox 360 cable shown below to connect the microphone out on the Tritton controller to the 360 controller.

    I'm told this is NON-compatible with this product below.

    I'm a bit confused.

    Does the Stereo Headset Adapter come with the correct cable to go from the (I believe 3.5mm output jack on the) Tritton Controller to the Stereo Adapter OR do I need to buy a different cable.

    I'm confused and everyone I call locally(stores) doesn't have a clue if it will work.

    Also Microsoft chat lady Hannah wasn't sure and told me to call the 1-877-696-7786 MS Store to ask.

    I don't want to buy all these things and it not work.

    I've found a webpage to mod the cables from the included headset but I want to do that last if I don't have any other options.

    Anyone with this headset that could help, or knows. I'd appreciate the helpful info!

    Tritton CONS AX720 Headset??

    Guys,

    I am confused about a Tritton headset listed on the Game & Gamestation websites, they are showing an
    all black model listed as
    'Tritton CONS AX720'

    I know that they released a 2011 version entitled v1.5 which was 7.1 rather than 5.1, USB powered rather than mains AC and had the SVM (selectable voice monitoring), this model is still in white, the picture showing on the Game & Gamestation is all black,
    it is not a GOW3 or Blops version.

    I just wondered if any of you jolly fellows had any idea about this model, I have done a search and it only seems to appear on the 2 x websites mentioned

    I am interested in buying the AX720 v1.5 model only and trying to find the new version anywhere is pretty tricky, only Gameshark are stating that there model is the new one, everyone one else's site appears to be showing the old model.....nothing is ever
    simple!!

    Mic not working, can hear but others can't hear me.

    Update, bought a xbox one headset adapter to work with my AX720 Triton headset. Same issue. This is not hardware. Even when i go to private party the mic picks up nothing. This is a premium headset with the adapter. Can we please come up with a solution

    I might end up just end using the existing headset that came with the one and hard solder in my AX720s

    ive got X41s and Tritton AX720s. my trittons are hands down better than my x41s. i had the Tritton AX Pros for bout 8 months and the mic malfunctioned. tritton has a new line up of headsets coming out. i'll be picking up the WARHEAD 7.1

    Mic not being picked up with stereo adapter

    Exaclty the same problem, but with a set of Tritton AX720s. They sound fantastic, but the mic is not working. Friends cannot hear me, and the circular indicator does not light up when I speak.

    Is the tritton warhead compatible

    The "mic" you're referring to is the boom mic that plugs into the headset.



    The mic I'm referring to is the chat system that allows one to talk to other players. Normally, that's supported by a wired mic cable that goes from the 360 controller to other headsets. On all other 360 headsets, a cable is required from the base of the
    360 controller to the headset for chat. Even the wireless Astro A50 has a mic cable port to go to the 360 controller.



    On the Tritton Warhead, that's all done wirelessly, same as the Microsoft Wireless Mic for 360 works. Tritton integrated the wireless mic into the headset base unit so that the headset can be completely wireless - no wired mic cable going to the controller.



    It's the wired mic cable that the Tritton Warhead lacks that is the problem. There will be no way for the Warhead's base unit to sync its wireless mic with the Xbox One.



    If all you want to do is use the Warhead as a wireless headset without a mic, it will be fine. If you want mic support, it won't.
