Awkward 28 hr. communication ban? Is this legitimate?

So, after defending my honor, in an admittedly slightly less than polite fashion, after being repeatedly called a cheater for something that was obviously lag on one of our parts, I was issued a temporary communication ban. I was under the impression that
a first time "offender" would be dealt a 24 hour suspension. However, mine says the enforcement date was May 15, 2017 @ 7:11:34 PM / and will last until May 16, 2017 @ 11:11:34 PM. This would be a 28 hour ban, yes? And is this legitimate? I'm trying to submit
a case review to simply inquire about this enforcement action, but alas, I'm doomed to the forums for advice. I dont wish to dispute the penalty, but to get a definitive time of when this suspension will be lifted. If it matters, this occurred in a Central
Time Zone (CDT). Thanks, in advance, for any information.

Banned by a group of people off WWII

This sounds like a game ban and not a Microsoft ban as MS does not do 28 hr bans. I would check with activision who run the servers for this game to see if you have a game specific ban from them.

Nope I have a communication and multiplayer ban on any game.

24 Hr Communication Ban

Hey everyone, I'm relatively new to using multiplayer and only I actually started playing online because I was playing ME3, so I have a question, I out of nowhere received a 24 hr communication ban. I have all my messages I've sent for the past two weeks,
how long I've been playing and there is nothing in there that I've sent anyone that is inappropriate. I also don't own a mic, so I haven't been chatting with anyone either. I did have a saucy exchange one time with my spouse, who also plays online, but that
was via private messaging and contained no pictures or video or anything, just a one sentence LOL type text you might send your spouse. Would I have gotten banned for this, even if it was in my private chat?

Hey there! What every they have posted will be legitimate. There is no set standard to enforcements just what they apply.

after the 24 hrs, 6 hrs after ban lifted, still cannot communicate via party chat.
