    Awful Customer Experience


    Real good customer service Xbox. Your new expensive XB1X is a paper weight for me with a hardware issue. When I went to start the warranty process I was given the option to bring it in to the Microsoft store for repair. Cool, I can get it repaired today
    instead of waiting to ship it out and then for it to return. How wrong I was!! 40 minutes drive, wasted gas, and sitting in this store for over an hour to get this thing shipped out because “you don’t have any repaired units in stock.” ****. That is not
    how you treat your customers!!! Open a box to a new one and swap that one if no repair units are in stock. If this unit wasn’t under warranty I could understand. But it is! Thank you @XBoX for wasting 3 hours of my night and gas to get here!!

    Customer Service was awful

    I had a billing issue when trying to cancel. I was still billed even though I cancelled. When in circles trying to figure out why with the support chat person "Ellen". Unable to explain in any kind of way why this happened just kept typing in circles.
    I decided it was not worth my $9.99 to even continue the frustrating chat. Then I receive this email:

    Really? Not only is this poorly written,but it's basically just still saying you're wrong and I'm right. Nice customer service Xbox Live.

    I'm sorry this happened. It's always best to call the store ahead of time to be sure they can assist with your problem before heading there. You can still set up a repair online and ship the console out. It's not the fastest method
    but if the console is under warranty you don't have to pay for it.

    I'm sorry this happened. It's always best to call the store ahead of time to be sure they can assist with your problem before heading there. You can still set up a repair online and ship the console out. It's not the fastest method

    you can't change your name for free that's only for new accounts with randomized names

    Since you have a custom name you don't qualify

    Not sure where you are getting this fake info.but support is correct

    If it's a 1month membership then no it can't be transferred

    Gamepass is account specific however you can trial it on a new profile if you insist on having a new name but you lose everything in the other account

    Hi there,

    I'm a bit confused on that the issue is, so I'll do my best to answer your questions.

    Did you not want to use the account you already had? Or were you trying to start a new account?

    If you want to start a new account, you will need to use a different email/Microsoft account.

    If you want to use the account from your 360, but don't want Live or Game Pass on it, you can cancel the subscriptions on the account at anytime by going to
    account.microsoft.com and selecting

    Payment & Billing, find the subscription and cancel the one you want to cancel.

    If you want to change the name on the account
    from the 360, that is, and has been a paid option for many years. The only free change any user gets is when they first create the account and decide not to use the gamertag the system gives them. More information on that can be found

    You're queuing them up correctly, but your account doesn't show that you have gold which is the issue. You'll need to go to
    http://commerce.microsoft.com to make sure it does show the gold on your account. If it shows any errors or that you should be gold and it still doesn't work, you would need to contact support. 1-800-4my-xbox

    If you added the gold via the website, there can sometimes be a delay with it fully syncing with your account.
