Awful audio delay

Discus and support Awful audio delay in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; So I've had my Xbox one since it was first released.     So I've had my Xbox one since it was first released. I had this issue once before and I guess Microsoft released an update that fixed the audio delay. For the last month the audio delay has been terrible and gets worse over time. My audio settings have always
    been the same. Don't tell me it's my cables because when I ran the exact same cables from my STB to my TV/soundbar (no Xbox one). The audio was perfect. I've tried every different setting in the xb1 audio settings. The video settings...everything. If anyone
    else is having really bad audio delay or know of a fix ...I'd love to hear some feedback. I can normally resolve things myself but this is my last resort or I'll just have to do away with the pass through. MY setup is and has always been:

    STB HDMI to Xbox then hdmi out to tv. I run optical from the Xbox to my soundbar. I have hdmi audio disabled in audio settings and optical audio set to stereo uncompressed. I've tried bitstream out on dts digital surround and Dolby digital and get no audio.
    (Never have). My soundbar is fairly old: polk audio surround bar 3000. STB is x1 **** model no: mx011anc. TV: Element ELEFW502

    Thanks for the suggestions ,but I am already using a hdmi cable,and I have also tried using the r/b/g cable.The tv is set to game mode and I have synced the lips mic's as well.Grrrrrrrr...not a happy bunny..lol.

    Is there any way I can stop audio delay problems between my brand new led tv and x box.The problem is really bad,especially when playing lips karaoke game(you sing and the sound is heard after).I have set the tv to game mode and have x box set to stereo
    sound(which helped slightly,but still unplayable).So frustrating as tv cost £600 and we have all 4 lips games which we played often at house parties.Any helped appreciated.

    I am getting the Audio delay once the console has been on for a few weeks at a time (in standby) - I play Forza 6 mostly and the delay is about 1-2 seconds.

    It is not limited to the game though. When browsing the Tiles on the home screen of the console you can observe the same delay in audio (there is a sound when you move focus between tiles).

    I have had this about 3 or 4 times and cleared it with a cold boot (remove all power for a minute or so, after shut down). Simply unplugging and replugging doe snot have the same effect.

    Please can MS write some code to check whatever is getting jammed and keep it in Sync?

    There is only the 50Hz refresh rate option and it is turned off.

    The problems with audio are tied when the 24Hz refresh rate is turned on. Turning this option off apparently fixes the problem but there are many users who would prefer to play Blu-ray discs with the 24Hz refresh rate.

    Some users have reported that turning the Xbox One off and then turning it back on seems to solve the issue for them, but this solution did not work for other forum members.
