"Awaiting privileges". Multiplayer not allowed until your privileges are checked, ...

Anyone knows how to resolve this issue?

I've searched for hours already on the web and no luck, despite some people claiming to have been able to find workarounds.

Using my XBox One, DVD of Halo: The Master Chief Collection with XBox Live standard (not GOLD) and have confirmed all my privileges both through the XBOX console as well as here through the XBox Live website and I have full urrestricted access to everything
(adult content, social media, purchases, multiplayer, etc.). I have also tried the hard reset trick waiting for 10 seconds to turn it back on, tried disconnecting the power cables for several minutes after a hard reset, tried going offline on XBox live through
the console and then logging back in... nothing works.

Anyone?

I just want to play online.............

Missing multiplayer privileges

Every time I try to play battlefield online it says missing multiplayer privileges but I checked and I do have Xbox gold until 12/3 anyone know what I can do to get online

 

Dude. If you want to play online you need GOLD.

 

twisted is right. you need a gold account to play online games on halo and just about every other game that is released by Microsoft that has online capability

 

The same issue started for me last night. I am a gold member.

This has to be one of the greatest blunders in launch history. The master chef collection has cooked up one of the most broken multiplayer experiences I have ever dealt with. I get booted from matches yada yada yada... I miss Bungie.

I found a good fix to this is to turn off the console, unplug it, then turn it back on. This should reset RAM which I think is the key problem, because whenever I restarted without unplugging, the error message would play (some consoles leave some ram and
cores on for update purposes).

 

I actually opened my eyes and I saw that it didn't work for you (derp). Either everyone is right and you don't have gold (it k, redeem your code).

 

You're right, it was because I didn't have Gold subscription. I redeemed the 1 month trial and it works perfectly now. Microsoft Support replied to me that if I wanted the "privilege" of playing online I should buy the Gold subscription.

Privilege?? Gone are the days that you put down money for the console and game and can play however you want.. Really frustrated at this new commercial model that MS and Sony have adopted.

 

My friend also have this problem, he can easily buypass it when clicking ok on the msg, but he can't join me in matchmaking. We can join eachother on custom game (only us two in the game). Something is very wrong with MCC..

 

You need Xbox Live Gold to play online. Its $60, but at least we don't get hacked as much as Sony does!

Alex Guarana, You will have to have Gold to play multiplayer, just like you did on the Xbox 360. Now if it is privacy and online safety or privileges issue is easy to fix.

First from your controller, click the three lines button. Second click settings, then on the left hand tabs select Privacy & online safety. Select which privacy best suits you as a user. Then to the right, content restrictions and select what best suits
you. Also from here you can select your contact preferences at the bottom right, if you ever want to opt out or opt in to both: Microsoft and its affiliates solicitations, product offers, news, deals, etc.
