Avoiding vs preferring.

Avoiding someone on the 360 only lessens the chances of being matched with them,it doesn't mean you will never be matched with them.

It also depends on the amount of players playing that game,the less people playing it then the more likely you are to be matched with them even though they are avoided.

As long as you have more pp who prefer you or haven't submitted, vs people who want to avoid you, you should be in the green ^u^.

No, avoided is based on the people that actually give rep. You can play with 100,000 people. And lets say only 1,000 people actually took the time to give you rep. If 700 people avoided you and 300 people prefered you, it will show up as 70% avoided. Naturally,
more people are going to avoid you out of frustration and anger than people are going to prefer you after playing a good game. Usually prefered come from friends and people you actually communicate well with in matches and avoided come from people that think
you are cheating, being a jerk, or are just frustrated with you. Don't worry about rep as it means absolutely nothing. It was initially designed as a way to help adjust matchmaking in games to try to match you with people based on past experiences. I almost
never run into an avoided person ever again. Microsoft doesn't use it for anything (that is what the file complaint system is for). The stars on your profile adjust with rep too. However, I'm pretty sure they are based on avoided vs people played, not avoided
vs prefered. Even people with 99% avoided have 5 stars so it is pretty useless.

Always worked on Xbox 360 for me, I never got match made into a game with someone I set to avoid once I left the game they were in.

Disc = 1 set of pros vs cons

Digital = Another set of pros vs cons

Which do you prefer = people bickering over petty differences in their preferences.
