avoid me

my account has been stuck on avoid me staus for about 6 months. i have been unable to find a single game in all that time. i know why i am on avoid me in the first place and dont really think its fair but theres nothing i can do about it.

i have had to use a 2nd account, i cant use my normal account that have all my purchases and save data. is this the only thing to do when in avoid me status?

i pay for a service and its being restricted. i am a paying customer and im not getting what i pay for

Unfortunately this is a huge problem right now for competitive players in games such as Call of Duty, Overwatch, etc. You can literally check the top 1000 leaderboard and almost every other player has some type of reputation issue. I'm in the same boat
as you and believe me I've looked far and wide for a solution and there doesn't appear to be any at this time.

I don't think Microsoft will take action on this until more people speak up on the issue; however seeing as we are in the minority I wouldn't expect anything to happen anytime soon. I would suggest playing other games in the mean-time or creating another
account to play your game with until your reputation goes back up.

 

Avoid Me

A XBL representative told me to post on this forum in hopes of getting in contact with anyone with the enforcement program as they cannot. I've been stuck in this since late May and have played probably over 2000+ people since then and haven't been reported
since. My entire thing is glitched as on the XBL enforcement shows I'm in good standing can get in the program etc. But on XBL it's still stuck in avoid me, it hasn't even moved into "Needs Work". Not going to go into why as I was falsely reported several
of time such as Top 10 UFC players in Ultimate Team by someone.

But anyways, it says "play games without being reported", I've had to encounter over 2,000+ people since playing CoD, Rocket League etc. An it hasn't moved. I called Xbox and they told me to contact the forums in hopes of getting contact with someone from
the enforcement program (no idea why they do not have direct contact with anyone in it). So can anyone do something?

 

What kinds of games do you play? Try playing a few different games and avoid some of the unsportsmanlike conduct that lends itself to poor reputation.

there seems now way to improve rep tho and ive continued to pay for a service for 6 months in the hope my rep might improve because thats what they all say. itll improve in time and such but it hasnt so ive been misled. i feel ripped off because im not getting
the service im paying for. ive not been banned and not been warned, ive just had my service restricted with no way of being able to argue my case and no information on when ill get full use of the services im paying for.

 

You must play games without being reported to raise your rep. This can be difficult as once you hit avoid me, you are matched with only those with the exact same rep. I suggest playing a game that has a co-op campaign. You will have to do so with friends,
as you would face the same matchmaking problems otherwise. You can also go to the forum of the games you play, post there asking if there are any others in the avoid me range, to set up a time you could all play together. Remember that if you try to play VS.
you will likely have problems as the opposing team would have to be at the avoid me range for you to find a match. I do not know exactly how many games you will need to play this way for your rep to start to raise, but these suggestions have seemed to work
for others. I have also heard that Battlefield Hardline is a good place to raise rep once you have fallen to avoid me. Good luck.

 

That should have read You must play multiplayer games without being reported. My bad.

 

ive tried playing battlefield to raise my rep, it hasnt gone up. to me this system is broken. i cant just play a game of fifa. let me again say i pay for a service and am not getting it. its actually a breach of the law

 

The rep system is put in place to try to get people to be decent to each other. You agreed to the conditions when you made your account. I will not try to tell you that the rep system is the greatest thing, as I really do not totally agree that other users
should have any say in any other users account. But I do believe in the spirit of the rep system. Again, I have no idea exactly how long, or how many games you need to play to start to see a raise in your rep. I just know you will as long as you do not receive
more bad reports.

 

i have to keep playing games to get my rep up, but only 1 game works. how broken is that? like ive said ive continued to pay for a service under the belief ill be able to play again and ive been misled. this isnt a ban, people that have been banned can get
their ban reviewed. ive just had my account restricted without anyway of doing anything about it.

 

Your account is only restricted because of your behaviour so you only have yourself to blame.

I believe playing Neverwinter helps in getting your rep up & it's a free game.

 

were you in the games i was in? why am i completely unable to find a game? why can someones whos actually been banned because theyve actually done something get their case reviewed, while someones whos recieved negative reports cant? those reports can be
for any reason as some players just get upset on games
