Avoid Me status even though I don't use a microphone unless I'm with friends

Hello,

I started playing Halo 5 with one of my friends a few weeks ago, and have seen my reputation slowly going down from then until about a week ago. I don't usually communicate with anyone on xbox unless it's in a party chat, or a straight co-op game like The
Division. I have previously gotten chat restrictions, but have since reformed my behavior and have not done anything report-worthy.

My account is currently at "Avoid Me," and I do not know why. I read some posts online about people in a similar situation and a lot of people think its a flawed reputation system. I'm not criticizing xbox's infrastructure, but I do believe I was unjustly
put in Avoid Me. I read about how people can block/report you after a game so they don't have to match up against you again, and that that can negatively affect your reputation. I believe that is what happened to me. I haven't sent any negative messages or
any curse words or anything, yet I end up in Avoid Me and am unable to play Swat with my friends anymore.

I tried everything to get my rep back up like having people like my feed and stuff, but it did nothing. I read that Battlefield: Hardline was one of the only games that you could get online matches whilst in Avoid Me, so I spent $10 that I really don't have
the luxury to spend, I have been playing it for hours solely in an effort to be able to play with my friends again, and it has been to no avail.

I am truly at a loss, I do not know what to do. I want to be able to play DOOM next week but so far nothing has done anything to raise my reputation. I thought maybe it takes a few days like a window in which a player on your recently played doesn't report
you and you slightly go up in rep, but nothing has changed. I've been playing on xbox live since Halo 3 and nothing like this has ever happened to me. I do not deserve to be unable to play with my friends, or be able to matchmake in majority of games.

I called xbox support and was on the phone for about a half hour with a representative who tried her best to help, but ultimately was reading scripts/step by steps. I was pointed to this forum for further assistance. Please help me, xbox is one of the few
joys I have in my life which honestly, isn't very great. Sparing detail I have barely any will to live and xbox is a very effective way for me to socialize with friends (who will not invite me to parties since I am ineligible to matchmake) and have fun that
I otherwise would not.

Please consider a reputation reset, I don't deserve to be in xbox "hell."

However, I don't think that option will be available with an Avoid Me rep.

Now, when you are in an Avoid Me status you can only be partnered with other players who are in an Avoid Me status. From what I understand you should be able to be partnered with others quite easily in the Battlefield series. You should also be able to
participate in friends online games so long as they invite you. Give that a try. So long as you play well and get good votes you should see your Avoid Me rep change.

 

Please BAN kinnect chat from games!

This is why I don't even wear a headset unless I'm in a party with friends

 

No communication is only one factor in your rep

How you play affects your rep too

If you are saying you are a pro but really are a new person than pros will drop your rating when you play bad with them or against

Trashtalking can also turn off people

Remember rep is not affected by one thing or one match but multiple matches

It's best to gear your game play toward your play style

So if casual then stay casual etc not pro or experienced

 

All consoles use this type of system so people don't get matched with people they shouldn't be matched witb

Your best option is to improve your rep while playing with avoid me

Or stay away from games you don't do well in until you can play well with others

 

I don't have much avoid me rep that's why I put casual rather then pro

 

Change your play style choose a style that fits you

This prevents people who are casual from asking for boosting or degrading pros ranks

It's I'd a legitimate concern for them

A poor player shouldn't be playing at pro matches etc

And yes that's what the game types are for

 

I was unaware that I could change my playstyle status, I will try that and play some more Hardline and see if that helps. Thank you all for the replies.

 

Actually i looked and there was no option to change from "pro" to "casual." Is that on a website? I even tried to google it and couldn't find any guidance.
