Hello. I'll get straight to it. I've been an [Mod Removed] online and i've received bad feedback because of it. 50% of this is because aggression, and 50% is because of that one kid in Halo 3 that will kill you with the BR and continue to
shoot your dead body as a sign of disrespect, even when i never so anything to aggrevate the kid. But anyways, this is basically a ban, it says you will be matched with similar players, but it never does and i am just wasting my xbox live time. So i am on
here to ask, how can i fix this, any advice? Because i can't do the only thing you can do to fix it yourself, which is being nice. (How can i be nice if i can't get the opportunity)

    :)

Does xbox live reputation slowly rise regardless if you play online

Does your reputation score on xbox one slowly rise even if you don't play online For example- Someone gets to "Avoid me" reputation, ragardless if they play online (even though they can't) or not will there reputation slowly rise thorugh "needs improvement"
and to "good player"? Thanks! Wondering jow this all works

  3. "Avoid me" reputation

Well then have you though that just maybe you deserve everything you get. Seems to be your scrounging for sympathy. You don't seem remorseful. Just annoyed that your being punished.

I tend to agree with this.

You **** off a lot of people. You did so knowing it was unsportsmanlike. Now that the punishment has befallen, you're finding out what it was like for those who had to play with
you. As several have already posted, it's going to be awhile before that rep goes back up. Also, as has been said, you don't need to get good rep. You only need to avoid getting bad rep. You're just going to have to tough it out being forced to play with people
    who play like you did.

An old saying comes to mind... don't do the crime if you can't do the time.

"Avoid me" reputation, can't connect to Xbox Live

    Hi there,

Unfortunately you will need to attempt to locate and befriend other people with the same reputation. You will need to play in games online without receiving any more bad reports. Since you said that you did actually do things which could be seen as being
a bad sport, you may have to accept this.

The only ones at Xbox who can actually do anything about this is the Enforcement Team, but they will usually only act on this if it seems genuinely unfair.

    Thanks!

  5. I think i'll just be deleting the account and making a new one, since what you advised is virtually impossible, thanks anyways. A mod can close this thread now.

  6. I would like to add one more thing, i already made a new account and bought a new membership, but contrary to to the average consumer's belief, microsoft does obtain the technology to determine the association of two accounts, so i would really like it if
they didn't read the above posts' and find my new account and slap me with the same reputation, because i tell you, if i had earlier knows that this is how the reputation system worked, i would have never conducted myself the way i had in the first place.
    Thank you people.

Hi again, I wouldn't worry about that. They only punish the accounts that deserve it, if you don't behave badly or break the Code of Conduct, then you should be fine.

Hey, iPhone 4 IOS 7. I would gladly play with you on Xbox One given the chance. You seem like a cool person to hang out with. Now from what I'm reading you don't sound mean at all. I do how ever see that you have the worst rep I've ever seen. This isn't
a problem though. You could go out and get a new account that would reset all of your stats including reputation. I would suggest is going on the Community discussion forum and make some friends by chatting up with other community members.

Also If you actually feel that you are genuinely mean to people, we should work on being nicer. I found a WikiHow with pictures on How to be a nice person.
How to Be Nice take a quick read.

@Voss Veceili - For some games, I believe only "bad-rep" players can play with other "bad-rep" players.

Suggesting that someone reads a WikiHow page on "How to be nice" might seem a bit patronizing, so perhaps just suggesting that they look over the Code of Conduct would have been better. "Avoid me" reputation, can't connect to Xbox Live :)

I have a hard time believing you only punish users who deserve it based on a computer algorithm. In fact, I know you don't. I have a friend who we can't even get with other bad rep users to play with to get up his rep because over the last month or so he
has been killing snipers on battlefield 4 with suav planes. And he is really good at it. Like double digits a game good at it. Because of that he has received messages calling him a little
[Mod Removed] and [Mod Removed] and such because he was good at it.

We have both had xbl accounts for 10 years and early on we were young immature kids who did get reported alot during the days of halo 2 and received com bans 10 years ago. Now because of your algorithm, all these false reports he has received has given
him an avoid rep and we can't get it back up because we can't find any games to get into. So how do we fix that?

@IKAIYOO - Please see the verified answer, it is the only way to get your reputation back up without asking the Enforcement Team. If you think bad reputation was unfair, then you could consider asking for it to be restored in the Enforcement Team's own forum
    area.

In the future, please make your own thread to make sure that support can be tailored to you.

    Massively flawed reputation system

The frustration is the catch-22 Xbox Live puts players in. You can't improve your reputation without playing online but you can't play online because of the reputation. From everything I have read the last two days since my reputation started toggling
between red and green, "avoid me" is essentially a death sentence with no chance of parole. It also looks like there is no warning that action is imminent; it just happens. Very disappointed that Xbox Live is dead to me now but my wife will be happy that
I don't play online anymore and spend money on Xbox games.

    avoid me rep

Unfortunately, there is nothing anyone in the forums can do to help with that. Here is the steps one user took to get his good reputation back. I can't personally state that it works but it is worth a try. Good Luck

This is extremely simple, and got my account that was in the "Avoid Me' reputation, back to "Good" reputation within 2 days. What you are going to need for this:

    1. 3-5 friends on Xbox Live.

    2. Multiple things on your Xbox Timeline.

Step one: Get all of your friends into an Xbox Live party with you at the same time.

Step two: Have all of them like the activities posted on your profile.

This should put you back into "Good" reputation and saves you the hassle of trying to find games with "Avoid Me'' reputation, which is nearly impossible outside of Elder Scrolls and Battlefield.

March update included : ► Reputation Ratings Changes -

The Xbox Live community is comprised overwhelmingly of players with positive reputations, and so, the vast majority of profiles are rated ‘good.’ As a result, we are changing our reputation interface to draw attention only to players who have been rated
‘needs work’ or ‘avoid me’. For Xbox One Preview and Xbox app (beta) members, ‘good’ players’ profiles will no longer feature a reputation gauge, however, gamers whose profiles are tagged ‘needs work’ or ‘avoid me’ will continue to feature the reputation flag.''

    Hey StR Artick -

    According to your
    Xbox.com profile
, your reputation is currently reflecting an "Avoid Me" status. The
Xbox Live Enforcement page on reputation status advises that an "Avoid Me" reputation may impact your matchmaking experience.

I recommend looking at the Enforcement site I linked above and reviewing their recommendations on how to improve your reputation status to better your online matchmaking experience.

    Thanks!
