Avoid me hell and the lack of imagination... episode 1

Dear Microsoft Xbox Team,

For the love of god, please address the reputation system and help stop the bitterness and contempt for this Xbox Live feature. This feature makes me want to switch platforms all together and I have been with Xbox since the beginning, before people even
knew what "Halo" was and became. I love Xbox and Xbox Live, its my go to console and I have a version of all platforms, with the exception of a PS4. Simply, because I have invested enough time and money into my Xbox One, that I felt I didn't need to double
down on it's competitor.

As of late, the only game I like to play is Overwatch, it's FPS Chess to me. I have achieved a lot playing this game and collected it's various awards, quite honestly, the best game created in the past decade. Thank You Blizzard.

Now, if you are unaware, Overwatch can be argued to be, the most "toxic" game on the Xbox platform, simply because of this "avoid me" status penalty users use to ban players from Overwatch. Now before people blow up my comment section with, "that status is
only given to you because you're a bad player, etc, nonsense.

This is not true, I get this status because of my silver "about to be" gold border around my gamer pic in Overwatch. Which, denotes that I have achieved X amount of gameplay hours into Overwatch. Which is sad but awesome at the same time, hardcore gamer
since Pong. Anyways, this is about 80% of my complaints, unsportsmanlike conduct, why? Because I pick meta's like chess board pieces while playing Overwatch. I switch to pieces that the team needs and sometimes that leads to characters like Symm, Torb, Hanzo,
Phara, Mei and slew of others.

I am reaching 5th level Flex player in Overwatch, basically knowing how to player one of each role, attacker, builder, tank and healer 5x over? if that makes sense?? This allows me to switch to basically any character to help the team when I feel it's needed.
Not bragging, but I kinda am. Now usually I play tank or healer off the top, but sometimes I lose the choice on both or quite honestly don't want to play those roles on certain maps. I have go to characters for certain maps. Torb, Symm, Bastion and Hanzo are my
guilty pleasure pieces when I am playing Overwatch.

Each of these toxic character choices are my mains, plenty of hours spent playing these characters, each of them have Golden weapons with the exception of Hanzo. Eleven golden weapons in total! Now i'm just flaunting and that's not what this is about. I
have lost my train of thought... one second please...

Oh, right! This Avoid Me Reputation Ban that is stopping me from playing Overwatch, seeing that its the only game that allows this Avoid Me Ban to punish its gamers.

The great dilemma about this issue, is that neither Microsoft or Blizzard can or will correct this flaw. Microsoft won't address the Reputation system because it would show it's a failed idea. Then again not really? All you need is a tweak or two.

Solution 1

1. If you are going to create a Reputation System, at least separate the communities. Have an adult community for gamers that are 21 and over, that can handle adult content and can OPT out of this Reputation system.

Problem solved on Microsofts end.

Solution 2 & 3

2. Accept Blizzards request to negate the Avoid Me status ban.

3. Allow Xbox users the ability to transfer all content to another platform. PC or PS4.

Problem solved on Blizzards end.

Because as it stands, the punishment for Avoid Me Rep status is 26-38 playable hours of WOT or any other game that negates the Reputation ban. Come on? Really!? and to add insult to injury, that only gets you to "needs work" reputation. Which is a handful
of reports for whatever reason in Overwatch to place you back in "Avoid Me" status.

The vicious cycle never ends.

Please remove or amend this feature, I just want to play the games I paid to play on a service I pay to play on.

Gaming is probably the best hobby I enjoy next to playing baseball or firing up a grill in the summer.

And to deal with this childish, petty feature that only benefits angry teenagers who want to lash out at gamers, is honestly not fair.

PC users don't have this issue.

PS4 users don't have this issue.

Get on board Microsoft.

grr i lack imagination

i have really only played survival mode, never had an interest in creative reasons being... i don't have any idea what to build. i don't intend to put hours upon hours into a build cause i lose interest after 20 mins and it never gets finished. i only been
playing a few months, before then knew nothing about minecraft, didn't even know you could build back then. but after playing these past few months i seem to play a world, beat the dragon, start a new world. it goes on like this. but i want to make something
cool, something that takes time but i don't want to just build whats already been built by others. i really can't think of anything that i'd actually finish. its annoying because ppl on my friends list usually play on creative and tbh i don't build. i prefer
to adventure, explore and survive. my lack of imagination has basically destroyed my hopes of creating anything. the onlything i would spend the time on is maybe putting a bedrock sheet across the sky of the whole map so mobs are always around. totally pointless
but i think it would be fun

Well, the only reason i still play minecraft really is for the redstone. If you want a challenge you can do it. I like getting the basic idea of what happens, like say, a hidden door. So ill think for about 15 minutes and then build it for around an hour
tops. If you want to see some ideas send me a friend request and ill show you some redstone things.

Calling your fellow players sore losers shows the system works

Rep like in real life is decided by how you play well with others

Which is the highest you can get

Don't trash talk work with your team and be a sportman it's that easy

Respect other players including your oponents

 

Your question should be how do I improve the community's opinion of me

Calling community toxic or sore losers shows lack of respect and only proves that you have poor sportmanship

If you were a poor sportman on your team how long would you think you'd last if noone in your team got along with you but along with 99% of.the league

Reputation has.never been in your control nor is a secret reset button

 

Again with the name calling. The people responding here are users like you, well not exactly, as they don't have reputation issues just like 99% of Xbox Live users. I encourage you to keep demonstrating why no one wants to play with you.
