"Avoid Me" FLAW in reputation system

The flaws in the way reputation system work has left many people with a rep not accurate of online interaction. People are being abused by this system and left with an ‘Avoid Me’ rep rendering them unable to play many online games and worse still unable
to play with longtime friends. I have read many other posts discussing these flaws in the system and many personal accounts from individuals who are no longer able to use the service they pay money for. I personally had my accounts reputation drop from good
player to avoid me in the span of only 5 days playing overwatch. My accounts rep dropped in two spurts, before both I was informed by other player that they were reporting the account, and rep dropped only minutes following.

In the first instance I was reported for, in my teammates opinion, intentionally trying to lose, “throwing”, by playing as the “wrong hero”. We won our game and I ended that match with 4 silver medals and one bronze (5 out of 5 participation medals). It
is possible some members of my team received no medals yet according to them, they were “trying” while I wasn’t, minutes later my accounts rep dropped to "Needs Work". The second instance occurred days later when I lost internet due to maintenance by my service
provider at 3:00 A.M. I got back online ten minutes later to find hate mail calling me derogatory names and one player informing me 9 other players had reported me my account rep now read "Avoid Me".

This personal experience of two rep drops with minutes delay between when an account is reported and when the reputation drops preclude Microsoft Enforcement Team's ability to verify the validity of the claims and makes clear that reporting works on a subjective
basis, reliant on player opinion rather than objective evidence of a breach in the Terms of Use. As I now know and have discovered many other customers know the Xbox Live reputation system does not function as intended and is abused. This easy abuse of the
system is compounded by the fact that no amount of hours playing, in the games (2 of 7) left available to play with an “avoid me” rep, and no amount of other players encountered can repair reputation once it has dropped. I eagerly await a response to my concerns
and hope for a resolution to the issue.

the reputation system in place on the xbox one is too flawed and punishes long standing "good players" in just a short time! As stated by program manager Micheal Dunn at this official xbox page
news.xbox.com/.../games-reputation-feature a player would have received SEVERAL notifications before getting avoid me reputation status. It also states that the system is set
to take into account all the multiplayer matches without "avoid me" incidents to take into account all the good hours you've played multiplayer. Well a) there was only one notification from dropping to yellow from green and no "several notifications" of
any kind that I was getting close to or need to avoid "avoid me" reputation status. Also b) this happened in a 2 week time from grievers on a very "sore losing" competitive multiplayer game of RISK. They didnt like when I would team up with other players
to take them out faster but initial alliances are always needed in world war...duh!

Anyways to say the least i've had good standing player reputation and played 1000's of multiplayer matches just fine on xbox live since the early 2000's and now this system in place punishes me in a 2 week period of time from my behavior in ONE Game and
can no longer play any multiplayer matches on bf4, gta online, cod aw zombies, not ANY of my other multiplayer games work. Enforcement team isnt any help because they dont even know how the system works, they state for players to play multiplayer matches
without incident and suggest to have other players give "good rep" not even knowing obviously how the system works! There currently isnt a way for other gamers to "good rep" you on xbox one nor do any gamers I know including myself ever go give feedback when
you had a good experience with someone!

This whole system in place is rubbish and im living proof why it doesnt work. Gamers give bad rep more than good rep naturally, there isnt even a way anymore for players to even give good rep, and it obviously doesnt take into account the countless hours
of good multiplayer gaming i've done over a decade's worth of time or even since Nov. 13 on this new system. Who is going to undo this wrong, chat support, "talk to enforcement", enforcement, "you'll have to play multiplayer matches without incident and have
players give good rep on you and will take quite some time". (even though you cant do either of these things and is just a spinoff). Forum mod's/ambassadors, "you should post your feedback ideas on uservoice". (been there done that, am I suppose to wait
months or years not playing multiplayer waiting for them to finally take notice of the build up's of complaints on flawed system?). Nobody at MS seems to take accountability or know how to treat a paying customer, selling me games and then taking away my
multiplayer for actions from one game in a short period of time without proper warnings in place that Micheal Dunn stated on your official website is suspect of a fraudulent system in place.

My friends and I are only 10. I use xbox live to play with my friends at school and only really play Terraria or Minecraft. I have been given a bad reputation for absolutely no reason and as a result now have 3 stars but i have never been any bother. I
used to always have 5 orange stars and was proud of this. I cannot play multiplayer because of this error and i was wondering how to be restored to "Good Player".

Contacting the enforcement team has got me no response.

Is there a flaw in the reputation system and i have been placed in the 'Avoid Me" zone in error?

Please can i be restored to 'Good Player" as this is upsetting me and affecting my ability to enjoy my experience of Xbox Live with my friends

you may want to go to enforcement.Xbox.com

And go to the rep section

It will clear all your myths up pretty quick.not all you stated proves the system works as intenddd

If you do not work with your team mates it is a valid rep.complaint

And yes if you selext.the wrong character and your team doesn't like it it is a valid complaimt

It is up to you to work with you team and is considered unsportmanlike

You will have to either find a private party or a club that can work with you and your choices

 

OOh you can repair your rep

Which is why you need to read the faq

You need to change your behaviour to work better with your teans

And yes more matches without reports will result.in improvement over time but any more bad reports will out you under again

Remember teamwork is a valid rep.complaint

You can't ignore your teammates and not expect them to complain

And no the enforcement team doesn't havd anythjng to do with rep

Only that they verify the complaint and yes unsportmanlike behaviour is a correct complaint you just have to learn to work with people or start joining only private parties that accept your choices

Non matchmaking Games like never winter or startrek or wolrd.of tanks can help you but remember it is the communities and your teammates opinion of you not your opinion. Of your rep that counts just like in real life

 

if you are fighting with your team you are unsportmanlike

Which is part of rep

Just like in real life your actions and words affect how people perceive yiu

Only by changing your behaviour will you get better rep in real life

Most of the other posts ar usually about picking the wrong character or trash talking which dispite what they think is actually a valid complaimt because there is something called teamwork and is part of your rep

If you choose to not work with your team you will receive rep befitting that

There is no principle who can fix that not even in real life

 

there is also the other types of posts oh it's flawed salty or sore losers players report me and now I'm avoid me

Name.calling and trashtalking is actually part of your rep and unsportmanlike

Remember all actions are part of your rep

And very valid complaints

I appreciate you writing such a lengthy response. I believe however you are missing my point about player reports to give your own assumptions about the way you believe I play.

The issue is not that I ignore my team, since that did not occur. My team had an opinion on the way they wanted ME to play. Given that I know my own skills and abilities better I had a different opinion of how I could best help our team. Why should their
subjective point of view be more valid than mine especially provided following my own opinion objectively earned 2nd best on the team and helped the team win? Why should the existence of their opinion give them a right to punish me for my own?
