I guess you can't be great at a game without ending up in the Avoid Me Rep category. Who are the idiots that came up with this nonsense? And pray tell, how the **** do we get out of it, if you ban players from playing match making games?? With endless queues
and team bans if you try to que up with friends? All because people report you for being good at a specific game?? So, you must be a hacker or using software to make you good, because no one can be that good? Now if I was playing a Microsoft owned franchise
game series, maybe, but to ban people from games that are not even under the Microsoft umbrella is just idiotic. So I guess, my hundred if not thousands of dollars of investment into your brand is rendered worthless?? until, I guess I play enough matchmaking
games, which I can't even que for? Way to good Microsoft for letting children dictate the rules and enforce trolls to ban gamers. This is what I get for choosing Xbox over Playstation? And to make matters worse, I can't even opt out of this lame **** xbox
community you cherish so much. At least give us that option or at the very least create a god damn button that removes the person you dislike for whatever reason from joining in future games with you. Problem solved, no more match making bans, stupid ****
rep that needs to be maintained and the loss of playing games on a system people spent a **** of a lot of money on.

I am not totally sure how the system works. I know people that are very good at some games and they never seem to have this issue though.

It is not a single button but you can go in a block a player and never get in with them again. And they cannot send you messages and stuff.

Really, MS should look at any reported actions. That way they can see what the issue is. I guess if you was able to coordinate enough people to report a player and nobody checked the reports than it would be possible to get issues. But it almost seems
unlikely to get that kind of numbers to report someone without legitimate issue anyway.

Personally I have only reported a couple people ever because it was obvious they were cheating. I have blocked a little more often mostly due to either the player displaying immaturity or having terrible connection and being in my matches a few times close
together so I notice.

 

I just don't like the fact that Microsoft took it upon themselves to create an environment that bans people from playing games they paid to play. I honestly don't think they understand the gaming world at all and what its like to play a game where emotions
are a factor. It would be nice to play in a community where everything was and is perfect, but that is not the case. Especially when you play competitive games, no one wants to lose to random acts of trolling, but thats the game and it happen more often than
not. Its very easy to get people to report someone because of their gameplay, "oh, we lost because our healer didn't heal us good enough" report that person for unsportsmanlike conduct. Its a lame system, I don't want to be a part of, i'm sure if gamers were
given the choice, they would opt out. I know I would, I don't want to be part of a community that requires you to act a certain way that "they" believe is correct. I didn't invest time and energy into the gaming culture to be limited to what Microsoft feels
is a great community of ethics. I just want to play my games, if you don't like me, you the gamer ban me from future encounters on certain games. To be blanketed across my whole library is idiotic, now my Xbox one is an expensive Roku for my Netflix and Hulu
needs. Once again Thank You Microsoft, next console generation I'll be sure to try Playstation out first and see what the buzz is all about. nuff said.
