Avengers pre-order beta

Search the store for avenger’s beta - there’s a 26 gig file you can download if you’ve pre-ordered.

I pre ordered Marvel's Avengers from the Xbox Store on my console. Online it says the closed beta is on 14th August - 16th August, for people that have pre ordered the game. I have not received a beta code even though i have pre ordered the game.
Can you please give some advice on what I should do or when i will be able to play the beta?

EVERYONE HAVING A PROBLEM, THIS IS YOUR ANSWER!!. microsoft tech support, game stop tech support , nobody could help me. Searching the store for “AVENGERS BETA” and bam it works. Jdawg is a genious!!!

Try contacting support about this. I've had the same thing happen to me and within a day of emailing them i was sent the code. Sometimes the servers mess up and don't send the email

I pre-ordered the game because it had a beta, I'm a day 1 owner of most games so when you say not to have that mindset gets me upset because company's wouldn't be where they are today if not for gamers

I'm someone who is and has been apart of multiple closed Alpha and closed Beta test for many games in the past, present and currently waiting for Alpha / Beta tests for upcoming future games that I've signed up for.

The Marvel Avengers Beta is not a true Beta, because the development of the game has already been completed, all there doing is to add polish and to stress test their servers and that it, being so close to the release date (4th September), A true Beta can
be anywhere from 3 months to a year before the release date of a game, not 3 weeks,

A true Beta is where the game is still in development and being worked on, if this was to be the case with Marvel Avengers right now, then the game wouldn't release until at least Q2 2021.

I've also pre-ordered Marvel Avengers, not because it has a Beta, because it's a game that interests me and Beta or no Beta, I'm going to buy it none the less,

I don't really care for the Beta as it's not a true Beta and besides it's only a 7 day wait from the pre-order Beta to the open Beta.

I can agree that a Beta included for any game can be an incentive to pre-order it for some people, just to get early play session of it,

I've bought games in the past that have had Beta's just like Marvel Avengers Beta, but i never got into play the Beta and had to wait for the open Beta, I've never cried or complained about it as i did not pay for the Beta, I paid for the game that i wanted,

So it upsets me to see people who think there entitled to get the Beta because they think they've paid for the Beta, when a Beta is just a bonus or an incentive to pre-order a game,

What if the developers decide to cancel the Beta? or if there was no Beta at all,

It wouldn't affect me as I've already stated, Beta or no Beta, I'm buying the game none the less.
