    It's a nice idea, but I think what you're describing is essentially an MMO. These are notoriously hard games to write, let alone get right. And it feels like MS more or less abandoned avatars a long time ago. I think they're just a legacy feature these
    days. :(

    Sounds like that Keflings game I used to play, but expanding upon that idea would be great. Also it would be great if Avatars were more customize-able.
