    Without the proper props to accompany the new skin tones to make your avatar look like a comic book character, it's still going to make avatars look like some dimwit who fell into a bucket of paint. Maybe it's just me, but I'd rather see just the normal
    skin tones on my social tab.



    There aren't any textures on the existing avatars, just colors. Scars and other facial features are separate. I can see this being a thing on the marketplace where it's part of a suit, but not default in the skin tone selector, which I presumed this topic
    was about.

    Yet I still don't see how people having the official option for other coloured skins would anyway impact your LIVE experience.

    Personally I'd love for the option to happen but Microsoft seem to be pushing Avatars to the background more and more, so I do doubt it ever will.

    No I don't see any impact either to be honest. It's not like it hurts and I guess adding the option would make it harder for them to see who mods and not but then again if the option was there, who would mod for it. It's a whole different kettle of fish
    and far pass my level of understanding. I remain at the same spot, I would approve and accept it if it came along.

    I think having this option would be a great idea.

    However you will always get some people who will dislike ideas. But that's just life, not everyone agrees in the same thing

    Oh you must be new to gaming, please let me explain :) A "skin" doesn't refer to the actual flesh of what ever the avatar or character or item is in the video game yer playing but simply just its appearance. For example if you're playing something like
    call of duty you might get a "camo skin" which would change the appearance of the gun giving it a camouflage cover.
    avatar skin isn't the same as a weapons skin ingame or character skin

    Completely different

    There is no skins on the avatar marketplace

    You can buy clothes like the master chief armor

    They are actually referring to the skin color

    It's not a debatable question or opinion you are taking it out of context

    To makes avatar look a certain way you buy a costume not a skin

    Ingame items like.character skins or weapons skins are not part of the avatar marketplace at all only called Costumes

    You can change the color of your Avatar's skin by going to the My Xbox row, select your Avatar Tile, select Customize Avatar, and select Change My Features. There should be an option here for skin color.

    @HoAx1993 - It depends on how the avatar's skin was changed. It's not bannable if you change it to one of the colors available, but there are ways to mod the avatar's skin to unavailable colors which is against the terms of service.

    That profile's avatar has blue skin. Avatar/profile modding alone is grounds for banning.
