Avatar Purchases for Children?

I would like to be able to log into my children's Xbox accounts and buy new avatar items for them, but I am denied access to avatar purchases on their accounts on both my computer and the Xbox. I understand the need for a child to be restricted from making
these purchases freely, but is there not any way that I can enter in my own Xbox password and give permission? Or even purchase items on my own account and share them with my kids?

Purchasing avatar items for my daughter's account?

Hi,

My daughter wanted to edit her avatar today and we were browsing through the marketplace. She loves Vanellope from Wreck it Ralph. So I was going to purchase the Vanelleope t-shirt for my daughter's avatar and it says she is too young. Are child accounts
just not able to purchase any avatar items or what? It seems wierd that I can't purchase a disney avatar item for my daughter's avatar to wear. Any help would be appreciated.

Never mind. It's probably helpful to save the avatar, then buy avatar marketplace items. If you don't save the avatar when, for example, you swap the gender of your avatar everything will be available to purchase from the avatar marketplace, except for the
dress up items... For some strange reason.

If the purchase is coming from the restricted account(s) then there should be a prompt asking for the password/pass code for the parent account of the child(ren)'s account. (That's how it is on my console.) After entering the password/pass code, you will
be allowed to make purchases on the restricted account for a limited time. Assuming this didn't happen for you, there's another way. You'd have to change the child(ren)'s account permissions, allowing them to make purchases. After the purchases, you may change
the permissions back, restricting the child(ren)'s account once again.

Parents won't like seeing mean looking avatars. It could give children a bad influence on their health.

Avatars were never meant for any violence what so ever. Look at the avatars, do they look blood thursty to you? They look like someone you would find off a children's game. Expect this kind of thing to happen. They just avatars anyways.

So when you click on Family Settings from the My Xbox row, that very next window should have Console Safety but it should also show the Avatars of your children accounts. If you don't see any Avatars here, then that account has no directly linked children.
They could be attached to a different parent account, or maybe they were promoted to adults.
