Avatar not saving...

guys,

New to XBox One here, did the initial setup of the console, updated the system(3.2GB of data downloaded). Then I started on making/editing my avatar. Saved the avatar then went back to the main screen...now it keeps on saying “Resume XBox Avatar Editor(as
per above pic)”. When I click on it, it goes into the editor but that is it. I cannot click on save or “Y” to save. When I go back to the main screen it gives the same thing “Resume blah blah blah...” am I doing something wrong? I restarted the console but
it still gives me that “error”.

Has anyone else experienced this, help will gladly be appreciated.

Never mind. It's probably helpful to save the avatar, then buy avatar marketplace items. If you don't save the avatar when, for example, you swap the gender of your avatar everything will be available to purchase from the avatar marketplace, except for the
dress up items... For some strange reason.

Do not save your avatar. Shut your console off without saving your avatar. Restart. It worked for me.

I just went through the same process with my original avatar and it saved that picture, but it won't save a picture with the new avatar.

Make a change to your avatar, save and try playing again.

Note Any avatar change will do because the change causes the service to sync your account for your profile.

Launch the Xbox Avatar Editor app.

Sign in and make any change to your avatar.

Select Save.
