Avatar Marketplace shutting down

Hello, Yesterday I was wondering about the avatar marketplace not showing up in the Xbox One dashboard, so I then returned to the Xbox 360 to check out the marketplace because I was intending to buy some CSI gloves for my avatar, but then I saw that the
CSI: Fatal Conspiracy items are missing, so I guess the same will happen with a lot of more games in the avatar marketplace. Can someone please give me an answer why has Microsoft taken down the CSI: Fatal Conspiracy avatar stuff?

I know about the case that happend that happened in 2011 with Microsoft taking out the Gears of Wars weapons for the avatar because pearents thought they "promoted violence", but they just took down the weapons, not the entire section.So why would they take
down these items when they dont promote any violence?

I was trying to purchase the CSI gloves but it doesn't show in the marketplace in console nor web?

Any advices?

That would be because the Zune marketplace is shutting down and Xbox Music is replacing it.

 

Hey , I can assure you that the avatar Market place is not shutting down. For the select gamers who are on the Xbox One preview program, the Avatar market place is currently doing its final testing and then it should be next in line for an update by Microsoft.

As far as the gloves you are looking for, it could be a licensing agreement thing they had with the CSI studio. Similar to what you would see on Netflix. One day the show is there and the next day it's not.

 

Yeah licensing deals go away often, and when that happens the item is no longer available for purchase. The same goes for some games that are taken down, I know a few have been taken down because of licensing and other issues.

 

No Tropico 4 or 5 gear. No Red Faction Gear. Nothing for Port Royale 3, and they took multiplayer away in the US. So, not a lot of love for the Avatar Store for me at this point.
