Avatar has no pose in Gamerpic

Weird error - I take a new Gamerpic on the Xbone, and it works fine. The image is used on the Bone and on the Xbox website.

However, on other applications (Windows 8, and other sites using the image) the image is the new background, but my Avatar standing there in the default pose...

I tried making a new pic, with a new background, for the background to update everywhere but the pose remaining wrong (except on Bone and Xbox.com)...

Any ideas why?

Avatar app crashes constantly

It literally took me hours to update my gamerpic because the Avatar app crashes almost constantly with a message that says something like "Something went terribly wrong." This seems to happen at random times, such as when the app is first launched, while
choosing a pose for the gamerpic, while trying to save the gamerpic, etc. Is this a known issue?

Hi,

All the poses are not supported by the various apps and devices, that's why it shows up with a default pose.

That would make sense, but I'd have thought the Bone saved the image as a BMP/JPEG/PNG instead of saving the image for use on the Bone and saving a default pose image for use elsewhere... Very bizarre.

But you can make a new gamerpic of your avatar even on the One of wanted. If course the avatar editor is not as detailed as it was on the 360, which really is a pity, but the possibility to pose for some photos of still there.

I highly doubt it. Too many people would abuse the privilege I think. Just wish they would add some freestyling to the avatar posing for gamerpics.

What my pic says is that' the only thing I can find that I kind of like to use as a gamerpic.

How have I not been creative? How many people have you seen with the same gamerpic as mine?

The actual gamerpics selection on the xbox one is dire in my opinion,don't like any of them.

I hate avatars,i hate all the stupid poses etc. so taking a half decent pick of a avatar prop & using that is what I've done.

I don't want my gamerpic or avatar to say anything about me.Let's face it BluSwirl,your gamerpic is hardly original or creative is it?

It's not being negative,it's my opinion,never liked avatars since they were introduced.

Agree with brandiesel,bring back the xbox 360 gamerpics but just change the resolution so they look right on the xbox one.
