Avatar Gamer picture won't change and save

Don't seem like Microsoft is to worried about getting it fixed, been like this ever since I got a Xbox one. And just updated my Xbox today and still not fixed. But they got my money no problem when I got custom outfits. 3 months since this form was made.

Making Changes to Gamer Pic Avatar That's next to Gamer Tag

I finally found the Edit Gamer Profile screen. I'm on a windows 8 PC trying to make changes to the gamer picture of my Avatar. It still won't let me change the picture. It tells me to go on my X Box 360 console setting, edit profile, gamer picture. I use
a PC. My set profile screen lets me edit my avatar, then save. It doesn't change the gamer picture at all. Got any ideas?

 

How do I change my avatar on a mac in Firefox or Safari?

I'm having a similar problem, I cannot use the avatar editor and cannot change my gamer picture (I can still change my gamer pics, but cannot take/save a pic of my avatar. I can only use the generic pictures provided already). I've download/re-installed
silver light but the problem still persists.

 

Xbox...this problem has been of and on again and again...i'm done with you..ps4 for life now

 

Xbox had been out too long for problems like these to still be here. Please Fix this cause I didn't pay to get my avatar clothes that I like just to be told to change them. Nope, not changing anything so please take some time out of your busy schedule and
fix this.

 

Im having the same problem with the "Forossa Lion Knight Outfit" from DARK SOULS 2.

Too bad the Avatar app is still bugged

 

I'm currently having this problem. It is extremely frustrating.

 

Just started having this problem myself, with the Animated Batman Costume, which was working fine.

I tried the Deathstroke outfit, and it just reverts to my older Batman pic.

At least it's not just me, but this has only just happened, whereas it happened to the topic creator back in April, so something must be causing it, and what on Earth is taking so long to get it fixed?

 

I thought it was me thank god I've been trying to change my avatar since Tuesday went threw all the trouble shooting steps and nothing it's annoying glad I'm not the only one and sorry that it's happening to other people

 

Same problem here. I haven't tried to update my avatar for a while, so last night I thought I'd buy a couple more items from the store. Customized my avatar with the new items and saved as my gamerpic, but it's stuck on the old one. Wish I would have known
this before I spent money.

 

Yep, me too...been trying half the day today...I tried like 10 random outfits...none changed it...

 

Hey, guys! There's two different things going on. If you are trying to save your avatar as your gamerpic, regardless of outfit or anything, then we are currently looking into that, but you will need to post in
this thread to be helped by Miss Diggz.

As of right now, we're looking into it, and can't address the issue in this thread further until the issue where you can't save an Avatar gamerpic at all is resolved. Keep an eye out on that thread from Miss Diggz for more information!

For me, the outfit is irrelevant. It doesn't matter what my avatar is wearing, the gamerpic will not update. I just got the One 2 weeks ago so this is pretty frustrating.

 

Yeah, I'm having this issue now. Doesn't matter what I'm wearing. I can set any gamerpic at all. But when I try to use an Avatar gamerpic it just keeps my old one. It will not update it to the one I've just made. Very frustrating, indeed!
