Avatar Features = Banned

Honestly I have no idea whats going on. I have an account from 2014 and like most people used software to change the colour of the avatar to blue. This resulted in a permanent ban until the year 9999. Wouldn't you know in 2018 they add it as a feature and
now I cant appeal for the ban to be removed.....

What am I supposed to do??

he already knows why he was banned it was for his avatar, and no once your banned, that's it, you have to start over again and DON'T mod your avatar!

Hi I was recently banned from Xbox live my gamertag is "GAA MAN14" I believe I was hacked as my email said I've been banned for changing my avatar and I didn't do anything to my avatar could you please help me

 

You used software to change the colour of your avatar - that was against the ToS and always resulted in an immediate ban.

Just because they added the feature now, doesn't mean you broke the ToS back then.

Code of Conduct. The Enforcement Team only bans or suspends accounts when they violate the Code of Conduct of Xbox Live and the account is reported.

"Don’t cheat or tamper. For example, don't:

• Use unauthorized hardware or software
• Exploit game vulnerabilities or glitches
• Make unauthorized modifications to your account profile or its contents (e.g., tenure, Avatar, game saves, Gamerscore, achievements)
  
• Intentionally play with someone who is using unauthorized software or methods"

 

I recommed you launch a straight email towards Microsoft support or to Microsoft directly so they can look into the case.

 

I cant appeal for the case to be reviewed (which is quite sad) so I just came on here to see if there was anyway that I could get this old account back. I just find it over the top to ban someone for such a long period of time just for changing the colour
of an avatar that has no effect on gameplay what so ever and then add the reason to why I was banned as a feature on the Xbox One. I understand now that it was going against the TOS of Xbox Live but then again a less harsh punishment (I believe) should have
been used rather than a permanent one such as a one year ban. Thanks for the replys though, was just here to see if anything could be done to revive this old account of mine.

 

I would but at the same time once you send an email to one of these guys as soon as I mention the word "BAN" its like I get a person reading off a script to say things like "We don't deal with this, go to the enforcement page to apply for the case to be
reopened." Then it would be a lost cause as I cant apply for the case to be reviewed.

Enforcement actions are not discussed in the forums as there are not tools present giving us the ability to assist with such situations.
