    Avatar editor won't save changes


    Recently I tried editing my xbox avatar but for some reason I keep getting this message saying "Something went wrong. Try again in a little while"

    I tried doing all of the standard procedures when it comes to xbox problems such as resetting the console (Twice) unplugging from wall, as well as uninstalling the xbox avatar editor app. I even tried changing my avatar on a diffrent xbox and got the same message. So I guess that eliminates the theory that it is a hardware issue. None of that seemed to work.

    So far there does not seem to be a fix to this and would like some help about the problem. It is a shame, being a customer for 10 years and ultimate member, and can't even use one of the prime featured of xbox customization.

    Can't re-download my xbox 360 account nor sign in with my Xbox profile on xbox 360

    Make a change to your avatar, save and try playing again.

    Note Any avatar change will do because the change causes the service to sync your account for your profile.

    Launch the Xbox Avatar Editor app.

    Xbox Avatar Editor

    Sign in and make any change to your avatar.

    Select Save.

    This may be a dumb question, but are you sure that you are actually saving the change on the console, not just changing it and then exiting the Avatar Editor? You actually need to save the changes prior to exit (I think the button says "Save & Exit") or
    the changes won't take.

    Maybe I can pick it up where he left off. My wife has the same issue. Same error. We can use the other application, but it still makes no difference.

    Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community.

    For now I will not be able to answer this question if this is a known issue, as far as I can see that the Avatar Creation App is still supported.



    Can you download the Xbox Original Avatars - Microsoft Store Apps and see if there will be any changes.
