    Avatar Awards Gone?


    Okay, so my son and I downloaded the most current update last week and everything went smoothly. It wasn't until today that he pointed out that the avatar awards are all deactivated. What i mean by that is, when you select the Awards icon in the avatar customization
    screen, it says I need to unlock avatar awards by playing games. This would be fine and all if I hadn't been playing Live for over ten years and had amounted a hundred different ava awards. Is this only happening to me since the update? any help with this
    would be great.

    You have to connect to Xbox Live and update your avatar awards. Just select 'Avatar Awards' in the avatar menu, and it should update your stuff.

    You still need to unlock the Awards.....

    Much like achievements, "just playing" is NOT enough to unlock everything... Specific goals need to be met.

    After 10 years, and being an ambassador, this is information you could easily find IMO.

    ^^ I'm assuming he's stating that they were all unlocked prior to the update, and now they aren't.

    Granted, I've played a lot of games and I've probably unlocked ~25 at the most awards. 100 awards, well, I don't even know if there are that many available.

    Yes, I meant that I had previously unlocked them and now they do not appear. I have exhausted all of my resources to find a reason why, but have come up empty. I was merely looking to see if anyone else was having a similar issue and if they had heard of
    a way to fix this issue

    I have seen this mentioned before with previous updates,not sure of the solution though.

    Have you tried re-downloading your profile?

    You could try physically putting the game disc in your machine that the awards are from,as the items are on the disc rather than being DLC.

    I've had exactly the same problem, only my awards disappeared after I visited the Avatar Store, then went to customize my avatar. I made no changes to my avatar, just hit save and exit. Not sure what all awards I'm missing now, but I know for sure my Doom
    T-Shirt and Guitar Hero Warriors of Rock "Axe" are gone because those are what I've had on my avatar for over a year and they aren't on my avatar anymore. My avatar customization is showing no awards and no props (I'm sure I have earned a few)
