Available Space not updated

I have my external hard drive connected to my xbox. The xbox correctly sees all of the content on my external, however, it doesn't show me the correct amount of space that I have available on my external in "My Games and Apps". If I go to Storage inside
Settings, it shows the external with the correct amount of space and has the hard drive listed as the default hard drive to install to, but inside My Games and Apps, it shows only the hard drive space of the internal hard drive.

The only difference there has been since I last checked this was the NXE update.

also, after I got my console setup and updated, before installing anything else, I had 780.8GB of available space.

 

"Bought" a (free) game from the live store but not showing up

I bought Roblox from the live store on my laptop and when I check the account it shows up in my games but it's not showing up on our xbox one.

Theres plenty of space available, it's not queued, and I've updated the Xbox...

I dont one know what's wrong , anyone please???

 

Hey mate,

I've noticed this can actually be slow to update sometimes, I had the same thing hte other night, but after a couple of minutes, it changed to the correct available space.

If you want, try giving you console a hard boot, which should speed things up YOu can do this by having the xbox on the dashboard, then holding down the power button on the console for ten seconds until it switches off. Then leave it for a minute or two,
before turning it back on. Then check and see what it shows you

The problem with that is that this isn't a new hard drive, I've had this hard drive connected to the system since about 4 months after the system was released.

It was giving correct stats in My Games and Apps before the NXE. Since the NXE I've had multiple hard boots for various reasons, but still I'm seeing this issue.

 

Yeah same, is the first time mine has ever played up like that, but it eventually did update to the correct free space. Have you actually tried waiting a bit to see if it updates? Sorry, I'm sure you have, but need to rule it out

I left it on that screen for over an hour while I went to eat, it never updated.

 

One other thing that happened in between when I know it was working and now, is that I took the external hard drive to a friends house. Since then, I've re-connected it to my hard drive of course. Perhaps that means something?

 

That is really strange, but must have something to do with it. Or it could just be a hiccup with the latest update that is causing it.
