AV2HDMI converter not working with 360?

Ok so basically I'm trying to get my old white Xbox 360 with no HDMI port to work on my monitor that has no red/white/yellow cord plug ins. I bought an AV2HDMI converter and everything seems to be hooked up correctly, but its not working. Any idea on why
it wouldn't be working?

RCA to HDMI converter not working in xbox.

Hey guys, My satellite (Directv) is SD. This is why I bought an RCA to HDMI converter here is a link: http://www.amazon.com/Generic-AV2HDMI-Composite-Upscaling-Converter/dp/B00ENH847W , When I plug it directly in to my tv I get a picture (it displays 720/1080p
at 60hz), but when I connect it to the xbox one's HDMI in, I dont get any picture. It detects a signal, but only displays a black screen. I have heard that trying to use a game capture might block the signal, so I am wondering if the xbox thinks that the converter
box is a capture card which might make sense, does anybody have any ideas as to whag the issue could be?

Connecting Xbox One to 1080i Component HDTV

I bought a KanexPro HDMI to component converter hoping that I would be able to connect my Xbox One to my (old) 1080i component HDTV, but it isn't working. Is there an HDMI to component converter that will work with the Xbox One, or will Xbox One simply
not work with 1080i component HDTVs?

Without seeing how you have it exactly set up, it will be hard for us to diagnose the issue.

The best answer I can give is to search google or youtube for how to use AV2HDMI Converter with Original Xbox 360 Console.

The converter is rated at 20 Watts. The Xbox 360 console (depending on the model) however draws up to 180Watts.

You need to get a stepdown converter that is able to sustain 200 Watts, and then the console will work. Your current 20 Watt converter is "too weak" to power the Xbox 360.

@Rodriktuga - Sorry this Logitech wheel is not compatible with the XBOX 360. It is only compatible with the PC and the PS3. There are no converters to make it work with the XBOX 360, you will need to purchase a compatible racing wheel with the XBOX 360.

Backwards compatible games must be converted, and no special peripheral games will work.

To prevent it? I'm confused, after converting it on the 360, is there another step I should do to prevent it from un-converting? It has performed fine for years until just yesterday.

But nothing to do to bring these files from the first one to the new one? And re-converting the old one won't just have it work again? That's disappointing.
