AV Reciever issues - Pioneer 323 K

My xbox one runs through a Pioneer 323 K which doesn't show in the supported list. Tried a couple of similar but doesn't seem to work. volume controls work but it cant power on and off which seems to be causing issue with the TV.

Anybody know if theres and equivalent receiver listed ?

Xbox One randomly flicks my TV source to HDMI, then back when in 'instant on' mode.

Ah ok cheers, yeah ive just one HDMI from the Xbox for picture to the tv (sound is through SPDIF to an AV receiver as its an older Pioneer with no HDMI).

Just googling about with your suggestion and there's a whole 'Configure TV/AV reciever' part of the setup i must've completely bypassed where you can select tv make/model etc! Never seen that menu before, i just plugged and played. Embarassing!

I take it you've been through this setup MTM1977.

I want to buy an AV receiver to plug the Xbox into via HDMI, what do I need to look for, or will any receiver with hdmi connection be suitable.

 

Look at the original remote to the receiver and see if there is a model number on the remote. If so, enter that as the receiver code. That's what I did for mine and it all worked. My receiver was listed but wouldn't work until I put the remote code in.

 

The suggestion got power on working. It doesn't switch off though.

I have almost the same issues with XBOX One communication and a Pioneer VSX-527.

I’m really frustrated to realize that my XBOX One has communication issues with my AV.

My configuration is simple, a pioneer receiver connected through HDMI with my XBOX 360, Playstation 4, Satellite, XBOX One and then receiver is connected directly to my TV.

Everything is working perfectly except my XBOX One. When y open the console white screen and strange noises.... when y remove the cable and reconnect it for the 4th or 5th time, then it’s working just fine.

After accessing one of the XBXO applications (random ones) the same thing, white screen strange noises. Tried different cables, different ports, different setting combinations for Xbox and AV settings…nothing.

When I plug XBOX directly to TV, no problem.

I really don’t understand how MS managed to have no technical issue with XBOX360 with the AV playing excellent surround and a new console like XBOX One to have issues from the first day. As I’m not the only disappointed guy with the same issue, 2 of my friends
have the exact same problem and after my research on the Internet, I realized a lot of people experience the same issue with their AV receiver.

As I kept my part of the bargain to pay the 600 to acquire the console fully functional, I expect the same thing from the provider of the product. And don’t tell me that I have to connect it directly to my TV because it’s not for y guys to decide. I want
everything connected to my AV receiver as a central console.

I’m a big XBOX fun from the begging and it really bothers me to have communication issues in 2014. I really hope that y will give me a professional solution to my problem, as this is my first (simple) approach to y for help.

PS. I won’t refer to other issues like, my receiver is not included in the list (and is an expensive pioneer not a no name), “XBOX On” is not working, volume control is not working

We actually returned my son's xbox one x-mas present because of the video issues (white static screen). We connected it exactly as we had connected the xbox 360 which never had an issue - through my Pioneer VSX 822 receiver. But no graphics on the xbox one.
We exchanged it, plugged in the new one, and same issue: when I switch from xbox one to another component that's run through the receiver, then back to the xbox one, no visual except the white static. So what I thought was a faulty xbox one was something else
(and it wasn't the hdmi cable, which we experimented with). I contacted Pioneer and they thought I should check the xbox one settings and tune down the picture quality. Not an option. Aren't improved graphics a big reason for upgrading to xbox one??? So I'm
figuring that my 2012 Pioneer receiver is not able to handle the upgraded xbox one graphics.

Is this possible? Or is it an issue that I should expect Microsoft to fix?

Interestingly, when I plug the xbox one directly into my tv, which is run through the receiver, I still get the xbox one audio through my speakers (also run through the receiver), so all in all, no loss, except that I have to run the xbox one separate from
the other components that I run through the receiver.

g’day can you please help me, what remote code are you using? I have the same amp, can get power and mute to work but not volume which is what I really want working. Cheers, Keith
