    Yeah looked into it further and most of the adapters that I looked into most people said it would play sound but really dont work with mics. I saw some three pole adapters and it was pretty much people saying the same thing. I dint think you will be able
    to get it to work this way. Even if you did manage to get something like sound I would imagine there would be latency in the sound from it being converted multiple times.

    Never thought about using a USB mic that way. By theory it should work. The only thing I could think of is if the headset or mic your trying to use pulls to much amperage and volts and causes the controller to shut down.

    Yes it has an aux cord. I have tried two different methods, A.) Plug the usb cord into the Xbox and then plug my headset into the USB adapter cord. And then B.) plugging it into the controller via the 3.5mm jack.

    Hello there!

    Regarding your explanation, In order to set this up, you will need a specific setup. The Mic you use needs to have an AUX port somewhere on it. The headset you use needs to have a removable mic that connects via AUX port as well.

    Therefore, you will have the mic plugged in via USB for power, the Headset plugged into the controller, and your Mic connected to your headset via AUX cord.
