Automatic updates

I have a Xbox one s, used more with apps than games. It’s not the first time that I have to wait even 30’ just to be able to use it, because of the automatic updates. I can choose: waiting, turning off, going offline. About what I’m forced to receive (hundreds
of MBs), I can learn on your website, the message displayed by the xbox is vague.

I kindly ask You to improve your customers’ experience, now it’s not too pleasant.

- the console is mine, You should let me decide what is to update and when it’s the right moment

- some people may leave the console always online, some may not

- I should read clearly in details about what I can choose to download

- since with computers and smartphones I can choose if, when and what to update (security updates apart, and it’s ok), I can’t find good reasons why You don’t permit this with xbox

- your customers’ time has a value, if part of it is wasted it’s a problem for your customers
and for You

If You don’t intend to change things, please let us know (I guess many are interested). Thank You

Sign in to your profile (if you've signed in online before)
Change console settings (except for profile and family settings; content controls remain in place while offline)
Play games (provided you've set this as your home Xbox or have a game disc)
Save game clips and screenshots
Earn achievements (however, there's limited offline space for game captures and achievements, so you should go online every so often to sync them)

What error message are you seeing? Do you have instant-on selected or power save mode?

Hello

Me and my friend have also noticed that game updates don't download straight way once they are available it takes approximately 12-24 hours.

Yesterday I had 5 updates in my games and apps pending
