    Automatic updates with instant on haven't worked for me in months..,


    I notice that even though I've had instant on on since I got the console last November, the last few months I don't get automatic updates...and yes the option is checked...when I turned on the console for the first time in about a week today I had to download
    a nearly 300mb update for the system and then another 200mb Killer instinct one when I was about to play tgat game.... is anyone else's auto updated completely not working anymore?

    I have a question about Xbox One Energy-Saving and Instant-On.

    Instant on for me.. haven't seen an update in months (except destiny which sometimes has to install when you launch) but they are a matter of MB

    Automatic game updates.

    Set your console to "instant on" mode in the power settings & enable "automatic updates" then updates for your console & any games you own will automatically update.

    So basically format my whole system and start fresh? There's gotta be an easier solution than that

    Is there a way to setup background downloads when you turn the Xbox One off?

    I have the Power Options set to "Instant-on". There is no "option to download games in the background", only "Automatically download updates". That's different... Having Instant-on did not work for me...

    Way too many updates

    If you keep your console in Instant On mode the updates will go automatically overnight or at times you are not on. I haven't seen an update in ages.

    Also if you are in the Insider Program updates are pretty frequent but you can always opt out of the program.
