Automatic Updates Stopped Working on Xbox One

Access settings and then into account, backup and transfer and then back up your profile to an external hard drive (preferably).

The best is to make a vacuum cache console system. Holds the power button for a few seconds and then waits 30 seconds and then restarts the console.

If the problem persists, it is due to a bug in a console system update and sometimes you have to wait for a next update for it to fix some defects.

Eventually you can check the boxes, restart the console, uncheck everything and then restart again... You never know

I’ve tried that reset and I did the reset to factory and kept games and apps. I’ve unchecked boxes, power cycle (where you hold button, unplug, wait 30 seconds and plug back in) a couple times and so far it worked for one game. Hopefully a future update
will fix it

trust me, your console does update in the background without you noticing! Whenever your console see's that your offline, that's when the update installs in the background without you knowing at all! Plus, your picture shows how you even have automatic
updates enabled which means it will download them without you knowing at all!

Trust me, its not updating the games because when I turn xbox on I have to manually start the game updates.

Up until the last couple weeks my Xbox automatically updated games, apps, and the system. Now it doesn’t and I have to do it manually. I have checked the settings and instant on is the power mode, when Xbox is off, turn off storage is not checked, keep my
console up to date, keep my games & apps up to date are both checked. Pictures attached. As far as I know and have read that’s all the settings for this to work and these are the settings that were used when it was working. I’ve also done a reset and kept
my games and apps. I haven’t had any luck searching online about this so far. And it’s almost impossible to talk to a person in Xbox support instead of a virtual agent. Any help would be appreciated!

I think it could have something to do with power saving mode or quick start in the settings? My xbox usually goes into sleep mode when i go to bed and im in the same boat. As soon as i wake it up it updates but not automatically. Im going to assume you dont
have any data limits set up.

my xbox was doin the samething, but i think it better if you update it y our self keep track of how much storage you use on your xbox.
