    Automatic Subtitles on Netflix all of the sudden.


    So I started watching Netflix and watched and episode of The Office and nothing was wrong. I switched over to House of Cards and the subtitles were on. I turned them off and finished watching the episdode. When the next episode played the subtitles were
    back and I had to turn them off again. I have watched 15 episodes of it and it never happened until tonight. I am wondering if anybody else is having this problem.

    How do I turn off subtitles so they stay OFF!?!?

    The last Netflix app update caused all video I play in Netflix to start with subtitles turned on. Looks like a bug in the Netflix app.

    Has anyone found a way to fix this?

    Automatic Subtitles on Netflix all of the sudden.

    I had this issue, if you go to the xbox settings menu and and disable the option to display subtitles in there it will fix the netflix issue, not sure why the setting changed but has fixed it for me

    Thank you. What I did was go to Xbox settings and turned off Closed Captions and they do not appear automatically anymore.

    So no subtitles for hard hearing or deaf people?

    by either '14 or '15, netflix will have subtitles on all their programs. unfortunately it's only 2013 and i still have to gamble on if a show will have subtitles. they are making good on it though, the only show i've seen without cc lately is continuum and
    primer was a bit buggy.

    I also use subtitles on everything. Sometimes the voice acting goes too quiet all the sudden or you just can't have the sound up very loud. There's no excuse to leave the option out.
