automatic renewal problem

Hi,

I have a problem with my automatic renewal payment for xbox live and xbox game pass, i can't remove it, this website told me it's not possible to remove it, it's a problem cause i don't need subsciption every time, thank you

Automatic Renewal problem

Today, Microsoft took €59.99 from my account as my XBL membership had run out. I never approved this and rang up straight away to cancel this ludicrous transaction. The man on the support line told me that my subscription renewed on 6th October this year
and it was past the 30 day period where I could get my money back. But the thing is, the money only came out my account today. I was not aware that my account renewed until today. So now I can't do anything about it. I am in my final year of school and that
means constant study, I have no time for Xbox. I just don't understand why this ridiculous system doesn't ask your permission before taking the money out. It should double check that you are okay with it. The fact that automatic renewal is automatically switched
on upon activation of your account is a joke, I can see how Microsoft make their money. It must catch so many people out. Why isn't it optional? I contacted Mastercard and they have informed me that I am 100% entitled to my money back, so rather than complicated
things by getting them involved, is there any way I can see my (basically stolen) money again? I just don't understand how a corporation with so much money can still be so petty and greedy. I will not be playing my Xbox much at all in the next 12 months, so
I've basically just given Microsoft €59.99 as a gift. Is there any way I can be reunited with the money I am entitled to?
