Automatic Renewal and Refunds

I just received an email saying my Xbox Live was just renewed due to automatic membership renewal. Even though I have not gone on my xbox in a good 6 months. I am just wondering if Xbox Live will give me a refund? Thanks

Xbox Live hard to cancel

I have called them and even if you meant to cancel after the charge has been made for the next period they won't give you any sort of refund. I was only one day late in calling to cancel and I still could not get a refund with them. The only thing they would do is not automatically renew it when came due again.

 

Automatic Gold Renewal Refund?

i would like to get rid of my monthly subscription how will i do that? thank you

 

If you call support within 7 days of the renewal you should be able to cancel it and get a refund.

 

call xbox to cancel if they don't don't pay the cc bill and tell the cc company you called to cancel but MS wouldn't and let the cc company worry about it. just be sure to write down the date & time you called to cancel , who you talked to etc , the cc company
is gonna want to know this for proof you tried to cancel on your own.
