Automatic Downloads?

Ok so I added my brothers xbox account to mine so we could play a few games a while back. I have since deleted it as he has got his own Xbox now. However I have noticed that everything he downloads is automatically downloaded to my Xbox (such as sunset
overdrive and dlc he buys) and I don't want this to continue as it is eating up my hardrice space really quickly and using our internet data .

How do I stop his content from being downloaded to my console?

Automatic Sign In - too automatic now.

We have two Xbox Ones in our house. My husband and I both play and we both have auto sign in with kinect enabled. Before the last update, if we were both on our consoles and walked into the other room it would see us, but it would ask us to hold down the
home button and confirm if it wanted us to sign in. It was perfectly suited for us. However now, if I so much as walk into the kitchen for a drink the Xbox in the living room sees me and takes it upon itself to sign me out of the xbox in the bedroom and sign
me in there. It's horrible. It completely shuts down anything I'm doing on my xbox in the bedroom. I really hope this was an oversight or that there's an option somewhere (other than just turning off a selling feature of the system -kinect sign in- for both
of the accounts on both systems) to get the behavior back that it used to have. If not I suggest that we get an option for those of is with multi console homes. I would like to think that my $1200 worth of next-gen tech can actually be used to its full potential
(instead of me having to turn everything off just to use it). If anyone has any suggestions, I'm all ears.

 

Automatic renewal not so automatic with MS

Xbox sent me an email on 12/3/13 saying that they would charge me $59.99 on 1/3/14 to renew my live membership. On 1/2/14 they sent me this :

Dear xxxxxxxxxxx

This mail is confirmation that you have successfully renewed your subscription to Gold – 12 Month. This renewal goes into effect on Friday, January 03, 2014. Please retain a copy of this for your records. Here is a description of
the service:

Then at the beginning of February I start getting emails saying that my card is expired and to update my info to avoid any interruption of services. I called support and got nowhere. Does anybody else read this to infer anything besides my payment for services
was completed in January? This is stupid. Happened last year as well. Customer support keeps telling me that the payment didn't go through and that this email does not in fact state that the payment went through. I am sick and tired of word games with MS.
If my payment was rejected for any reason, just say that. No instead they send me a confirmation of renewal and then tell me that it does not say the payment went through. Worst communication ever. Nice job MS.

 

Your console is set as his Home console. Either have him sign in on his console and change it to his Home console or you can head to Settings with your gamertag on your console and set it as your Home console.
