    been having problems with remote downloads I purchase via app not installing to console they just go to ready to install. But when I restart Xbox one s the downloads will start. Also I can never turn the console on via the app after a certain length of time
    that Xbox has been in instant on. All my setttings are correct for these basic features to work. My patience is wearing thin now

    Why not get the media remote that way she can turn in on via the remote and go to the TV app. Bang issue resolved

    Downloading Remotely

    Hi panda, I believe this is already a feature, if you download something via xbox.com it will remotely download to your console, assuming of cause the xbox is on.

    Is your console enrolled in the Insider Preview program`?

    Can you also try the following:

    In the energy settings, set your console to Power saving (not Instant on). Shut down the console, and restart it from the power saving mode.

    Then re-set it to Instant On mode, and shut the console down. Does the console now download stuff in the background?

    I think I may have already tried this but will try again. It works on and off as it was working a few ago. I then bought infinite warfare dlc via store and expected it to have installed on my Xbox only it hadn't and hasn't worked since. Are you an ambassador
    that can report this issue to Xbox engineers to fix it

    To clarify, are you in the Xbox One Insider Program and using the new dashboard? If so, you'll want to post in the

    Xbox One Insider Program Forums     for the best info and assistance. Since the update is still in the early stages, things may not work correctly at times as it is a Beta. So they'll have the best insight and be able to troubleshoot any potential issues. If
    you want to opt out of the Insider Program, you can do so from the Insider App on the console. Keep in mind thought that doing so, will cause your console to factory reset and any games and apps will need to be reinstalled to the console.

    I'm in the insider preview but not had update as of yet I'm in ring 3. I've had the app issue for months seems to be a wired connection that causes the issues,wireless isn't perfect either there is some major issues with the instant on that just aren't being

    hi I went ahead and tried what you said and I then went to store on my phone and initiated the final fantasy demo. This worked and installed to console however i had it working a couple of weeks ago and attempted to download the games with gold title layers
    of fear via my phone,this did not work and just went to my ready to install I'm confused why this keeps happening and will probably happen again,which means I will have to go through your suggested process again. Surely I shouldn't have to do this every time

    I think I may have already tried this but will try again. It works on and off as it was working a few ago. I then bought infinite warfare dlc via store and expected it to have installed on my Xbox only it hadn't and hasn't worked since. Are you an ambassador
