    hi i was wondering if there was a way to stop apps i download onto my pc from automatically downloading onto my xbox one, without turning off auto downloads on my xbox. it is a major pain in the ass and is rather stupid i am not given the option when downloading
    an app, thank youy

    And the controller does not have a driver to download online.

    The xbox controller driver is automatically downloaded when connecting the controller to the PC.

    Hey there, it sounds like your PC automatically formatted the drive. For the play anywhere titles, you would have to download the games from the Windows Store.

    Hello Micke,

    Where is the installation being done, i.e. from the Microsoft Store or from a different location?

    As most items being downloaded from the Microsoft site should download automatically to the PC, it is odd to hear that the game is not automatically being applied.

    Are there any errors when attempting to complete this by any chance?

    We understand you are having issues with your Xbox game downloads. Based on the details you provided, it seems like the game is being reinstalled automatically even after you have uninstalled it.

    Please try the following steps to prevent the games from downloading itself automatically:

    - Open the Xbox app on your PC and go to Settings > General > Downloads.

    - Uncheck the box that says "Automatically download updates and purchases". This will stop the Microsoft Store from downloading and installing any apps or games without your permission. You can still manually update your apps and games from the Microsoft Store if you want to. By following these steps, you should be able to stop Xbox games from reinstalling automatically on your Windows PC.

    - You may also try uninstalling and reinstalling the Xbox app. This can help reset the app and fix any issues that may be causing the game to reinstall automatically.
