Automatic Account Renewal

Hi, I am trying to cancel my automatic account renewal but it keep saying there is an error occurred, once i try and save the changes on my account. I was wondering why this would be doing this? and if so would you be able to correct it so that i am able
to stop my automatic renewal of xbox live gold membership?

EA access, yes or no?

just subscribed, just a heads up to anyone looking to as well, when you first subscribe it sets to automatically renew by default, you cant undo that in the app you have to log into your account on xbox.com, go to subscriptions and cancel the automatic renewal there.

You could've had automatic renewal for your xbox live account if anything that could be why your account is recently charged without you buying anything because it could be on automatic renewal

Sorry to hear you're having issues cancelling the auto renewal on the website. Give support a call and they can turn it off for you.

I remember this happening to me I payed with a credit card for one month then it ask you if you want it to automatically renew your account when it runs out I said no and it still went on doing it for like 6 months and I didnt even know. I think it's stupid
that they do that why even give me a option if I want to or not when they are going to do it anyway. All that money I spent I could got a year membership instead but no it think you want the same membership they should stop that *** how easy is it to renew
it on your own that we need it automatically done

Manage Xbox LIVE automatic renewal

From your PC

To turn automatic renewal off: Click Sign In at the top of this page, or click My Account if you’re already signed in. The automatic renewal setting will be displayed near the top-centre of the screen. Click Change next to Automatic
Renewal.

On your console

When you’re approaching the end of your current Xbox LIVE Gold Membership, you’ll get a renewal message on your TV screen.

Month-to-month membership: You’re notified 15 days in advance.
3-month or 12-month membership: You’re notified 30 days in advance.

If automatic renewal is turned on for your membership, the membership will be renewed and will be billed to the “payment method” (credit card or PayPal account) that is saved in your Xbox LIVE account. Your access to Xbox LIVE Gold benefits will not be interrupted.
