    Auto Update Installed Games


    Sorry if this has already been raised, I have my system on Instant-on with a tick in 'keep my console, games & apps up to date'. My console always updates automatically but my games don't seem to, is this an issue that anyone else is experiencing or is there
    something else I need to do?

    It may have already installed itself then, do you have auto update and the likes on, also is the game disc or digital, if digital that can explain the auto installing of dlc.

    All Grand theft auto DLC's are installed with the game. All Rockstar needs to do is update the game / servers and you'll have them it isn't like the 360 version.

    Hi, its very hit and miss that i have noticed as i have pubg installed but done play it and that auto updates, but i play black ops 4 most and that hardly every auto updates, i have to go into the game and manage game and add-ons and then it shows updates
    waiting even though everything is set to auto update.

    It is annoying that some update and some dont and also are hit and miss whether they update on themselves or not :(

    Are you connected to the internet?

    That game requires an update.

    Don't switch it to offline mode.

    If you are connected what are your speeds?

    Keep it set to Auto-Update and wake up to a fully installed game.

    How do i stop a game from auto installing even with auto updates switched off?

    A game will start installing regardless if auto updates were enabled. You just have to go stop it, or don’t buy the game till you’re ready

    The auto update is game specific some have it some dont.. games need to be digital version and the console did DL the update... just installs the last few bits....with a verification
