    Yeah this feature is broken. I remember when it used to work. When you turned your system on and went to your games, a little asterisk or something would be on the top right of the games placeholder letting you know it updated. I haven't seen that in a long
    long time.

    So I pre-ordered Quantum Break like a month ago. I even downloaded the 75GB live action pack. I go to play it just now, 45GB update? WTF is that? I am assuming the game never installed even though it said it was.

    This is broken and needs to be addressed!

    Also, there is forum in the feedback section that is marked completed and it clearly is not. Can we get this unmarked?

    Xbox one Auto Update NEVER works

    I am getting really sick and tired of microsofts broken console Xbox one. I dont know how many hours and days I have lost to this. I selected this option as soon as it came avaiable and seen it working for Rocket League. However Ghost Recon spent all day
    installing and i left it on all night in case it needed to auto update the game or games. But nope. Fire it up the next morning and I have to wait again because it just realized after all this time that it does indeed need an update of hours. And now yesterday
    I bought halo 5 guardians spent ALL day installing. Left it on all night again. And boom here this morning it says halo 5 needs an 51.8gb update. Great. Another wasted day I wont be able to play thanks to broken Xbox auto update. Oh and there's a console
    update to install too that is also set to auto update. I'm beginning to think of Microsoft as the new Sega. Broken company making broken products.

    sorry to disappoint, but both solutions given did not fix the issue. the game needs an update. i have never had any other issue with any other game i have ever played on this xbox. it’s this game alone that’s broken. grand theft auto San Andreas needs a patch update.

    MSFS2020 won't start - says I have a mandatory update to install from the Microsoft Store - But MS Store says all updates have been completed.

    It worked for me! Very frustrating that we need to do these cryptic steps to get the updates appear on the Store.

    Why can't MS fix these auto update issues? Clearly something is broken with the update process. The App can tell there is an update, while the Store cannot find it. Very infuriating!

    Microsoft - Please fix this with your next update!

    It may be that there are behind the scene fixes/updates. Perhaps nothing broken for how you use the app, but it might be fixing bugs elsewhere in the system.

    you can turn off auto-app updates in the Windows store if you prefer not to download the updates all the time and choose when you want them.

    It sucks you have to reset but yeah that issue would bother me too so I would probably do the same.
