Auto shut down not wanting it

I recently got the xbox one x just before Christmas and it will completely shut off when ever j play the assasins creed ezio collection like when I complete a mission and it auto saves it shuts down when j dont aant it to idk if that's called a crash or
what lol I need to know If there is a way to stop this from happening I paid alot of money to get it and dont want it to turn into a paper weight

It has enough room for cooling and everything is factory and It takes literally days to download on my internet so I'm trying to not do that

xbox uses the actual firmware?

as said, try to reinstall the game, if this dowsnt work you should try a reset of your console and try it again.

this is sure not normal.

your console has enough space for cooling?

if this still happens then there is something really wrong with the hardware (maybe)

Try to power cycle the console by holding the power button for 10 seconds or more and then disconnecting the power cable for 1 minute.

If that doesnt work perform a factory reset without removing games or apps ( you will not have to reinstall any games) : https://beta.support.xbox.com/help/hardware-network/console/reset-console-to-factory-defaults

If that fails then perform a full factory reset.

Also does it only happen in 1 game? If it doesnt happen in other games then it might be the games fault. Some games have issues running on the X and that is the developer's fault

i think it just warned you that it will shut down soon.

as i can recall there are two choices in the settings about auto-shut-down,

either to shut down after 1 hour or 4 hours if you have the box on, but dont use it ..
