    Auto-Renewal


    Hi all.

    I'm a tad bit confused. 3 months ago i bought an "off the shelf" 3 month subscription and as i always do- i turnd auto renewal off.
    However Microsoft try to charge me on the 23rd of July but could not so
    they charged me today (27th), But auto renewal was off and is now back on!

    the same thing has happend to me with game pass however with slightly different circumstances. ( i got the free trial, now i owe Microsoft money) whats going on.

    Now the Xbox live gold problem wouldn't bother me as much if
    i could turn auto renewal again, but It says "You'll lose access to your Xbox Live Gold subscription on 27 July 2018, when we don't charge again." but i was already charged it even
    says it on the website. on on my bank statement.

    It would be absolutely great for to get some reliable help.

    p.s. i haven't contacted Microsoft yet as i'm not sure if its something i have done.

    Is there a monthly subscription for Xbox Live on Xbox One? How much is it?

    You can buy a 12 month auto renewal for $60. Monthly auto renewal is $9.99.

    Also, if I have canceled auto-renewal why can't I remove the credit card that is used for auto-renewal?

    Also, usually if you use a free trial it automatically turns on auto-renew.

    Why get rid of Gold Family?

    Mine auto renewed in February, I've talked to friends who have also had theirs renew recently, Friends without auto renew selected can't rebuy. So it seems it renewed if set to auto, and you lost it if it wasn't.

    To cancel auto-renewal you need to go too the xbox website then go too payment and billing find Xbox game pass then turn off auto renewal on the game pass

    then it should cancel your auto renewal.

    You need to turn off your auto-renew first, then try removing the expired card. As long as the account is still set to auto-renew you will need to have a card for it to renew to. If you wish to keep the auto-renew on then you need to change the card it renews
    to first before removing the old card. Hope this helps.

    If you purchase directly from Xbox and leave auto-renewal on, it will renew every year. You can turn auto-renewal off at http://commerce.microsoft.com
