    Auto Renewal on dead account


    I was charged for a year and a half because I didn't even realize the account was there. I had like 5 accounts because of all of the variations and evolutions of microsoft online accounts. I thought I was paying for my sons account but I paid that as yearly
    so every month I kept getting billed on an account that I didn't need or use. I want a refund.

    Yes, you can turn off auto-renewal by going on to your Xbox account online. Click "my account" And then it says "Automatic Renewal: On (Change)" Click change and you can turn auto renewal off. Auto Renewal on dead account :)

    Does Xbox make you pay after a free trial expires?

    auto renew is always activated on trials, make sure to go to account and subs to disable auto renew if you plan on not extending it.

    @ingoish .. it is set up by default to auto renew. you'll have to log into your Xbox account online to turn auto renewal off.
