Auto renewal doesn't count for mercenary dlc promo?

was wondering how i receive my mercenary dlc code for sea of thieves when I'm set for auto renewal every 3 months? I didn't think I needed to cancel my subscription and re add the 3 months when you were already charging me. I'm already paying $100 a year
instead of $60 because I never switch off the 3 month subscription because you usually honor any deals I would have received with buying a 3 month subscription. Just wondering how to receive a mercenary dlc code please I have a contact number from my amazing

Can not turn OFF auto-renewal

Hey Randy,

I would suggest trying to turn off the auto renewal in IE if that doesn't work then contact Xbox Support by phone and they will be able to turn off auto renewal for you.

Well for one you don't have to wait 30days to turn off auto renewal

If you are trying something else like remove an payment option then yes

Since you are on a monthly plan you have to wait out the current subscription as they can't give you a prepaid code for less then 30days

That doesn't affect auto renewal at all

That promotion was run through Microsoft Store specifically, for purchases of a 3M prepaid membership code. In this case, an automatic renewal would not be eligible for this particular promotion, I'm afraid.

If redeeming a prepaid card doesn't count then there shouldn't be a redeem code option on the promo screen...

I ALSO understand what you were saying before...

I See what you're saying now.

The thing is, you're talking out of your trousers! Looking at the ACTUAL terms and conditions there is NOTHING that says promo codes don't count, that you must click on one of the three options, that auto renew has to be on... NOTHING.

PLEASE... IF you're going to post again, go read the terms before trying to make up some new reason for why we won't get it. The thing is, with the way the promo is worded I GUARANTEE that a lawyer will say they have to honor it for ANYONE that goes gold
during the promo and through its sign up.

It would only cause issues if your friend doesn't buy the DLC that you have. You can still play the story mode and Mercenaries. But if you want to play Versus, Desperate Escape, Lost In Nightmares and Mercenaries Reunion together your friend will have to
purchase the DLC.

When you do the promos they sign you up for auto-renewal at the regular price after whatever the promo you sign up for is expires. Read what you sign up for when you do this. It clearly states so when you sign up for the promo.
