    Auto renew even after I removed it??


    Hey,

    Me and my girlfriend broke up. We used her bankaccount to pay the subscriptions. It is now extra awkward for me, that xbox debit her card with the 2 subs(gold and gamepass) even though I'm not even able to use the xbox now, and the I really really carefully
    removed the card from everywhere to not get into this situation. I really dont want to pay money for nothing. It feels extra embarrassing now.

    I want a refund. Thats all.

    I cannot reach support anywhere to conact them? If no answer or I get rejected, there is an Institute in my country called something like "Consumer protection authority" but I really dont want to spend time for that.

    Pretty terrbile situation.

    Auto renew

    there was a time where I could cancel my auto renew online. why was this ability removed. it takes 2 min to cancel auto renew online but 15+ over the phone. that is not cool Microsoft shame on you.

    Xbox live working after expiration

    Hi, my xbox live ended late december 2016 however even after i switched off auto renew my live is still active. Am i still being charged?

    You can still chat with support which is just as good as talking to them. Here’s the link. I’ve just checked and the option to chat is there.

    You say that you removed the card from things but did you actually turn off auto-renewal. To cancel subscriptions you have to tell them to not renew. Removing payment methods does not stop anything.

    You say that you removed the card from things but did you actually turn off auto-renewal. To cancel subscriptions you have to tell them to not renew. Removing payment methods does not stop anything.

    Somehow renewed membership just by adding new payment option?

    Was your account set to auto renew? It sets to auto by default and I'm pretty sure it will automatically renew whatever your last subscription was ( 1 month, 3 month, 1 year), even if you add a new payment option. To remove auto renew, you need to log
    into your xbox.com account.

    Cannot remove credit card after auto renewal switched off.

    How is this legal? You have to call in to cancel or turn off auto renewal and are unable to remove you're card until you do. Then they have no refunds after you get auto renewed on... one of the dirtier ticks I've seen.
