Auto install games

I often purchase games from the online store whilst at work, with the hopes that I can jump straight in and play it when I get home. When I switch my One on, the game appears showing 'ready to install'. I then have to start the install and wait. Why doesn't
it install by default when I make the purchase? I have my One on low power mode if that makes a difference?

You can Change this settings for Auto Update in Settings.

I believe that I saw that in Energy Settings...

I`m shure when you Switch to energy save mode it will not do that, but i ment there was a Option for Auto Update games... please take a look and tell me if you found it?

 

Games Auto-Install?

Just select the installing game tile and press the menu button and select pause installation. When you wish it to start again, just repeat and select resume installation.

When you purchase something it does automatically download and install immediately.

 

I think what u r referring to r "background downloads": the console downloads while it is turned off. The One currently doesnt allow that from reading a similar post.

 

it is a feature shown to us and will come eventually...
