    Auto hdr used to work now it doesnt


    So before it was automatically on and that worked but then i went thru all my settings to turn on 120 fps om 1080 and i didn’t like how it looked so i went back and undid all the changes but now my auto hdr notification doesn’t show up and when i press the xbox button all i see is game mode but not hdr. And its not the game i still play the same games that have hdr but it just doesn’t work anymore

    Xbox one S HDR Stutter

    No auto brightness enabled, and definitely not a vizio problem. My friend has the same tv and an xbox one s and his doesnt do it. HDR through the tv app works fine, 4k through xbox one S works fine, its only when HDR is enabled that the stutter exists.

    It's probably your console's Auto HDR settings. I have mine disabled right now until I figure out how mine works, and I turned off the Auto HDR on my VIZIO V-Series as well.

    While it will show in 4k via the console, when it is downloaded, it can only show what is supported by the device it is being ahown on, most phones do not suppoet 4k hdr. Aswell as it is waved to a cloud network, so whem shared it will auto adjust its resolution
    to make its its packet smaller. As of right now sadly xbox doesnt seem to support the 4k hdr share system.

    I understand that. But I had read that Batman: Arkham Knight does support Auto HDR.

    Can you suggest game(s) that support Auto HDR so I can verify that it works?

    Xbox One S - 4K issues

    For anyone else that has this problem I solved mine by switching the TV off at the wall and then switching it back on. Auto delect now works and it detects 4K and HDR.
