Auto-Downloading during sleep hours

Hey everyone, I live in a rural area and only have access to satellite interent with a 50gb a month limit till it swtiches to a throttled speed. Many of the really good and popular tend to 20gb and up and downloading then during the day can really kill
my data allocation especially of i download more than one a month which is another way im restricted because xbox love gold give 4 games a month. I have an option though, between 3am and 6am in the middle of the night i have unlinited highspeed data. THE REAL
QUESTION: i would like to know of there is a way to enable a setting which allows my xbox to access my download que and download games i have paused in it for a set time frame of 315am to 545am so that it daily downloads my games or even a way to set it nightly
so it downloads ot that night without me having to wake up at 3 amd start it then wake up again at 530 to stop it.

Can you set the XB1 to auto shutdown after downloading?

If it is on Instant On mode, then it will download even while off, additionally there is a sleep timer you can set as well to auto-turn-off after a set amount of time.

Has anyone digitally downloaded a game yet? Time?

2 hours was good. My Internet has an average download of about 5mbps. I estimate about 4 hours for me to download the 10.5GB Fifa 14.

There is currently no way to set download times on the Xbox. You would have to wake up and set it yourself. If you know enough about networking and have a router that allows you to do so you could disable a connection to the system during peak hours and
set a permission to have it enabled during a set time.

As good as an idea this may be, it isn't something that is possible on Xbox at the moment.

Alrighty, thanks for such a quick response, i didnt think there was such a feature for xbox but was hopeful. Ill definitely check my router functions and features, its a nighthawk model so im pretty sure i should have control over connection times as youve
suggested.

Those are downloads in the background. Turn on the "Auto update" feature on your console to let the console update during non active hours.
